Visit the Palace of Knossos, home of the legendary Minotaur, trek through the 18 kilometre Samaria Gorge, explore fantastic mountain-biking territory and enjoy a variety of water sports. In the evenings, sample great Cretan cuisine and local wines at any number of tavernas.

Getting There

Regular flights from the UK and Athens serve Iraklion and Chania. There are many ferries from Piraeus to Iraklion, Chania and Rethymno daily. KTEL buses connect all regions of Crete.
