Villa Alba is a lovely stone Greek villa with two double bedrooms that sleeps 4 - 6 guests, in Zakynthos with a shared swimming pool.

Hand-crafted stone villa near to one of the island’s most spectacular beaches

Villa Alba has been designed and built with beauty and simplicity in mind.  The villa has been constructed in the Byzantine style of stone-masonry with hand-carved wooden interiors and traditional hand-fired terracotta floors. 

Villa Alba and its sister villa,Villa Alfonso, are located on a quiet lane very close to the sea.  The villas are surrounded by lovely gardens with lawns that are ideal for children and an organic vegetable garden and BBQ area for guests’ use.  The gardens run down to the banks of a gentle river with lovely views over the Keri Natural Reserve to the nearby sea.

Villa Alba is on two levels.  The ground floor has an open plan living room with fireplace and a kitchenette.  The hand-crafted wooden gallery above the living area and the simple hand-carved wooden furnishings add a rustic charm to the interiors.  A hallway leads to a spacious double bedroom and separate full bathroom.  A large wooden veranda overlooking the garden runs the length of the house with doors leading onto it from both the living area and the bedroom.

An open wooden, spiral staircase leads to the gallery and upper level.  Here, there is the second double bedroom with hand-crafted wooden four-poster bed and a large veranda with sea views and ensuite bathroom.  The gallery area provides a cosy space for an additional living area or third bedroom that can be screened off by cream drapes for privacy.

A large swimming pool with plenty of sun-loungers and umbrellas is shared between Villa Alba and neighbouring Villa Alfonso.

The beautiful beach of Limni Keriou and its pretty fishing village are a distance of 200 metres. The villa is situated on a quiet lane, surrounded by gardens which are enclosed from the river and is an ideal spot for families with children.  Although car hire is not necessary, it's fun to hire a boat locally to explore the spectacular coastline around Keri with its white, chalky cliffs and iridiscent blue waters with hidden beaches only accessible by boat.

Villa Alba and Villa Alfonso are available for let separately or combined for larger parties.  Each villa is in its own private setting, approximately 30 metres apart from one another.  They are well equipped with A/C and Sat TV.  Early booking is recommended.
