Sheltered from the Cycladic winds, the traffic free village of Megalochori provides a peaceful and by no means secondary alternative to the more renowned villages of Fira and Oia.

This romantic villa once provided the villagers of Megalachori with a safe haven from marauding pirates who invaded the island. Today Villa Ivi with its vaulted ceilings and beautiful courtyard garden provides an enchanting holiday home perfect for a couple or a small family.

Villa Ivi is a short walk from the village square of Megalahori which hosts three very atmospheric tavernas. The Venetian architecture of the village provides a beautiful backdrop in which to cradle this gem of a house. Entering the property through sky blue painted gates a pretty world unfolds. A private, cobbled courtyard with olive trees planted in terracotta pots and quiet little places to sit are all centred around an outdoor jacuzzi. This is a perfect place to relax and cool off after a day at the beach.

Quaint, sky blue doors lead from the courtyard into the open-plan living area which houses lounge, dining room and well equipped kitchen. The spacious master bedroom, with high domed ceiling has a view of the courtyard and features a walk-in closet. A large bathroom, with modern amenities serves this bedroom.

A second bedroom with its own separate entrance from the courtyard offers a double bedroom and a small flight of stairs lead to an en-suite bathroom with shower.
