This is a lovely, spacious property in an elevated position with wonderful views of the sea below.  The property has a stunning back-drop of a dramatic hillside and is surrounded by small fields and orchards.

The main villa has an open plan living room with SAT TV and music system, a spacious dining area for 6 and well-equipped kitchen which includes a dishwasher, full oven and microwave. Doors lead out onto a very large terrace arched terrace with outdoor dining area and stunning sea views.  On this level there is also a double bedroom with doors leading out to a patio overlooking the pool with sea views and a large bathroom with shower and washing machine.

Upstairs, there is one double bedroom with a very large sea-facing veranda on two sides, and one twin bedroom with a lovely private balcony. In between these bedrooms is a bathroom with bath and shower.

Next to the main house is an absolutely delightful guest bungalow which has been decorated throughout in a charming and stylish way.  Here, there is a very pretty living area decorated in powder blue with an open fireplace, and a smart kitchen with beautiful, pale blue tiles.  The kitchen is very well equipped and includes a full cooker and washing machine as well as small dining area.  Doors lead from this open plan room to an arched veranda outside.  This lovely covered terrace has an outdoor dining area overlooking the pool and barbecue facilities.  There is one double bedroom with its own private patio and a bathroom with bath and shower. Above the guest bungalow is a roof terrace with  spectacular views of the sea and surrounding countryside.

Outside, the grounds are spacious and are punctuated by olive trees. There is a large private pool with various loungers set out for sunbathing around the pool terrace.  There are also plenty of other areas of the garden for relaxing in sun or shade whilst taking in the fabulous views.

The nearest village for provisions and tavernas would be about a 5 min drive away.  This part of Crete has a spectacular coastline with miles and miles of unspoilt sandy beaches - the nearest of which is at the foot of the hill about 5 mins drive away.  The picturesque town of Chania with its ancient, Byzantine, Venetian and Ottoman influences is about a 25 min drive away.  This is an area of Crete steeped in history with many important archaelogical and historical sites to discover.  The surrounding villages and mountains are spectacular and are a paradise for walkers and those interested in exploring a part of Greece that is 'off the beaten track'.
