This is a newly-completed property, contemporary in style with chic, stylish and comfortable interiors set out over three levels.  On the ground floor level is a living area with dining area opening out onto a very large veranda running the length of the property.  Beyond the dining area is a kitchen which is spacious and with smart fixtures and state-of-the-art appliances – chefs in the party will love preparing delicious dishes in this wonderful kitchen whilst being entertained by friends relaxing in the living area.  On this level there is also a guest bathroom with WC.

Stairs lead up to the first floor where there are two bedrooms:  The master bedroom is very large with its own large veranda that has stunning sea views. This bedroom has a large bathroom with bath, shower and WC, as well as a separate walk-in closet/dressing room.  The 2^nd double bedroom has a spacious en-suite bathroom with WC and shower, and exceptional views from the large picture-windows right out over the bay.  From all balconies of the property, the views are magnificent right out over Paleros Bay with the islands of Meganissi, Lefkada, Atokos, Kalamos & Scorpios in the distance. 

On the lowest floor are two further guest bedrooms:  Both bedrooms have double beds and en-suite bathrooms with WC and shower.  There is an additional smaller bedroom with double sofa bed and with its own en-suite bathroom with shower and WC that would be suitable for either staff or perhaps for an extra child or two in the party.

The property is very well equipped with WIFI internet, i-pod docking station, TV and DVD as well as air-conditioning throughout.  All furnishings are of the highest quality and the style is pleasingly minimal giving a chic and fresh feel throughout.

Villa Madouri has many features to recommend it, but one of the exceptional features, aside from its location, is the amount of outdoor living and dining space that has been created.  From the living room, doors running the length of the space lead out onto a large covered veranda which has a wonderful outdoor living area with in-built sofas and many pillows.  In front of this veranda is an enormous sun-deck with sun-loungers set out to enjoy the view across the pool and bay.  To the side of the sun-deck under a covered pergola is a fabulous outdoor living area with dining area where up to 20 guests could relax in absolute comfort!  In front is a stunning infinity swimming pool and beyond that –  golden sand and turquoise sea!  A garden with lawns punctuated by an impressive palm tree soaring into the blue sky completes the property.

The sea on this western mainland side of Greece is fantastic.   The colour is almost as if bleach has been added to the sea – it’s a wonderful iridiscent blue with foaming white surf.  This coastline of Epirus has become one of the most sought after destinations for a holiday in Greece due its miles of sandy beach and crystal clear waters.  It is an excellent base to be able to explore by boat the neighbouring islands of Lefkada, Meganissi, Kalamos, Arkoudi, Kastos, Astakos and Scorpios. The villa is set within a very quiet area without any beach bars close by to disturb the tranquility.  There are two traditional tavernas within walking distance that serve excellent home-made dishes.  There is a mini-market and a bakery within 200m, and a supermarket within 4kms.  For guests staying at the villa, home-made bread, fresh fruit and vegetables as well as fresh eggs and local cheeses can be delivered from one of the local farms.

There are some very chic beach-cafes about 4kms further down the beach at Paleros town with comfortable loungers with cream cushions set out under large umbrellas.  Here guests can enjoy a light lunch or evening swim followed by a delicious cocktail whilst the sun sets over the bay.  Only 2kms away is a water-park offering lots of fun for the children and within a short walk are plenty of excellent tavernas.  This is also a very cultured area with most of Byzantine Greece lying at your doorstep.  Within a day trip are the ‘Monasteries of the Air’ at Meteora, the Byzantine lake town of Kastoria, the lake town of Ioanina with its little island which is steeped in Byzantine and Ottoman history, the mountain town of Meteora known for its excellent cheeses and the entire mountainous region of Epirus which is stunning with its old stone bridges, pristine nature, and medieval villages of Zagoria which are an absolute must-see if visiting this area.  In addition, the villa is easily accessible being a short drive from Preveza airport.
