Villa Myrtle is a wonderful family villa and can work in combination with villa Kimon for larger groups. The villa is semi detached but had ots own private swimming pool and garden so privacy is always maintained. This high quality villa is situated in a private estate of three villas.  Each villa has its own privacy, large garden and large private pool.  The villas are set on a hillside surrounded by olive groves and with stunning views over Malame Bay.

Villa Myrtle has a large open plan living room with TV area as well as office area which includes a computer, fax machine and WIFI internet.  This open plan room also has an extra sleeping space with double bed tucked away at the furthest end.   Next to this is a guest WC. There is a dining area for 6 guests as well as a small children’s dining table.  The kitchen area is well equipped with a full oven and dishwasher and is stylishly decorated with mosaic tiles.  Double doors lead to a large veranda with outdoor dining area overlooking the pool and garden.  From the veranda, there are wonderful sea views. 

Upstairs, there is a double bedroom with sea-facing balcony and a twin bedroom with private balcony that has views of the surrounding mountains.  Between these two bedrooms is a excellent bathroom with Jacuzzi bath and shower.  Just above the stairs on the upper level is a small ‘attic’ style sleeping space that is perfect for a child – the space has a short ladder up to it and safety railings across. At one end of the corridor, doors lead out onto an upper terrace.  Relaxing on the day bed and looking out over the stunning sea views is an absolute treat! 

There is a washing machine on the upper level and there is air-conditioning throughout.

The villa has a very large garden filled with flowers and a large lawn with plenty of space for children to play.  The swimming pool is particularly large and also features a children’s pool.  Around the pool area are various umbrellas and loungers as well as an outdoor shower.  The outdoor dining area is spacious and has barbecue facilities.  The views down  to Malame Bay are breathtaking.

This is a traditional part of Crete.  The local village has a traditional café which is within walking distance. Five minutes drive away is the village of Platanias where there are various shops and tavernas.  The sandy beach at Malame is only 4kms away. This part of Crete has a spectacular coastline with miles and miles of unspoilt sandy beaches.  The picturesque town of Chania with its ancient, Byzantine, Venetian and Ottoman influences is about a 25 min drive away.  This is an area of Crete steeped in history with many important archaelogical and historical sites to discover.  The surrounding villages and mountains are spectacular and are a paradise for walkers and those interested in exploring a part of Greece that is 'off the beaten track'.

This villa is ideal for larger families with children needing some extra sleeping space. Children will love the exceptionally large garden and pool.  For the adults the spacious terrace and wonderful views as well as excellent cooking and dining facilities create an easy and relaxing holiday environment.
