Villa Ascolano is located on a hillside overlooking the southern coastline of Zakynthos near the traditional village of Lithakia. Villa Ascolano and its sister villas Villa Olea & Villa Sevillano are named after ancient varieties of olives that have been grown in this area since Venetian times.

Each villa has been designed to ensure privacy of surroundings. Built in traditional Zakynthian style, using local stone and handcrafted wood, Villa Ascolano has its own private swimming pool set in landscaped gardens and offers an exceptionally high standard of accommodation. The chic, contemporary style interiors have top of the range fixtures and fittings including SatTV, plasma screens and A/C throughout.

Villa Ascolano is on two levels with an open plan living room with fireplace and comfortable seating area, dining area and excellent kitchen facilities. On this level, there is also a second bathroom with shower and laundry facilities. The upper level has two double bedrooms, a twin bedroom and a spacious bathroom with shower and bath. The views from the upper level verandas are superb. For extra sleeping arrangements, there is a double sofa bed in the living room.

Each villa is surrounded by landscaped gardens with a wonderful dining area and barbecue by the swimming pool. There is also an outdoor shower. From the garden and swimming pool terrace, there are magnificent views over the olive groves to the sea below.

The local village is within walking distance and there are many lovely, sandy beaches within a very short drive including the beautiful beach at Porto Koukla with its excellent fish tavernas.
