This summer residence of a Greek noble family, with a Villa
dating back to 1880, is situated on a beautiful estate of olive
groves, colourful flowers and vineyards just across the sea of Ermioni. The local beach is a pleasant walk through the grounds and woodland of the estate or a few minutes by car. Ermioni is a delightful marina town built on a gentle hillside surrounded on two sides by water which have become a favourite anchorage for yachts exploring the Saronic Gulf. There are many restaurants, cafes, bars and traditional shops that line the quays. The heart of the town has a myriad of winding flag-stoned streets transporting you back to a byegone era with old neo-classical style houses and Mediterranean gardens filled with scented flowers and citrus trees. Ermioni has a very pretty and unusual pine wood with the ancient ruins of the old city wall which fringes the secluded bays and coves around Ermioni. The sunsets over Hydra Island and Dokos Island opposite are spectacular. From Ermioni, there are regular boat services and a water taxi service over to the neighbouring island of Hydra.
