Set within the area of Kokinaria on the island of Spetses Kokinaria House has been fully refurbished an extremely beautiful way. The simple colours of white and blue give the house a light and airy feel making it a very enjoyable place to while away the hours whilst relaxing on a Greek villa holiday.

An elegant home, beautifully furnished in a traditional style but with modern conveniences and a very high standard. The property also has very good wheel chair access.

Villa Kokinaria with its beautifully spacious and light rooms, its huge verandah, pretty garden, stunning views and dusky pink terracotta roof was fully restored in 2004. The owners have retained many of the original features whilst integrating all modern conveniences and facilities for the disabled to allow for a luxurious level of comfort equal for all guests.

The main house has a large living room on the upper floor with open beam roof and fireplace. Flooded with light and space and decorated in mute creams with elegantly painted wooden floor this room has an overall sense of serenity and tranquility. Doors lead out onto a fabulous roof terrace with vine pergola, fridge, fixed seating for 15 people and spectacular views.

On the upper level, there is also a bathroom and large double bedroom with antique double/twin bed equipped with remote control for altering the bed position. The open beamed roof adds to the sense of space and grandeur.

Stairs lead down to the ground floor level where there is the master bedroom with very large antique four poster bed also with the remote control system for altering bed position. The cool stone flagged floor and traditional cast iron wood stove add a delightful touch. The master bedroom has a spacious marble bathroom. Along the hallway is a walk-in cloakroom and laundry room. On this floor, there is a spacious kitchen which has been beautifully renovated mixing old marble, traditional features, with smart, chrome appliances. There are antique tiled floors throughout the kitchen which are found in many of the neo-classical mansions of Speses. There is a large dining area which is perfect for cooler days.

The pretty guesthouse is found across the courtyard where there is a double sofa bed, a traditional single ‘platform’ bed, marble washstand and well. A series of steps leads from the cortyard garden to the guest house.

The lovely courtyard garden has a vine pergola, outside kitchen with stone oven and large barbeque, and is filled with olive- lemon- and orange trees, grapes, and a profusion of flowers and aromatic plants.

The property has central heating in all rooms as well as satellite TV, music centre, telephone and Internet.

Villa Kokinaria is a fabulous choice of property for disabled and non-disabled guests alike wanting to relax and enjoy the delights of Spetses in comfortable and beautiful surroundings.
