Villa Lyra is beautifully restored tradional island cottage on Alonissos, Greece. This wonderful property sleeps 4 - 6 in 2 bedrooms with 1 bathrooms and is situated 150 metres above of of the isalnds best beaches, thus providing a fabulous setting for a private holiday villa in Greece. 

Lovingly restored cottage above one of the loveliest harbours of the Sporades

This lovingly restored cottage, decorated in pretty blues and whites offers a spacious sitting room with two divan sofas, terracotta floors and painted blue ceilings. It has a cheerful atmosphere as you enter into the sitting room with the kitchen situated in the far corner. It is equipped with a microwave and 2 ring hobs with small oven. The dining area offers a typical Greek table and chairs that keep with the traditional scheme. A door from the kitchen leads to a back terrace, which provides great ventilation for warm summer evenings plus extra light to the area. The two bedrooms are reached from the main sitting room area, the first a double bedroom and the other has two single beds. They are both furnished with fitted wardrobes and the double room has views to the sea. There is also a w/c shower room situated off of the sitting room.

Lyra Cottage stands approx. 250m above one of the loveliest harbours of the Sporades - Steni Vala, which is a favourite anchorage for yachts. This picturesque, tiny harbour has just a handful of delightfully unpretentious tavernas, which line the pretty quayside and a small shingle beach. A hired boat can be moored here to give easy access to the rest of the island’s beaches. In addition to the waterfront tavernas, there is a cafe and a couple of mini-markets. From the harbour, it is just a short stroll across a low headland to reach the beach of Glyfa. Along the port in high season, you can also find water taxis departing for the beautiful beach at Agios Dimitrios. The village of Steni Vala is also serviced by local bus and taxi. 

One person can also sleep in the living room on a divan if each child wants their own sleeping space.
