Villa Machi, located in one of Lefkada’s most serene spots close to the picturesque fishing village of Agios Nikitas. The villa has its own private swimming pool and has direct access to beautiful Milos Beach - 1 km of fine, white sand found just below the property.

Villa Machi is a stone villa on two levels that has been designed in a traditional style and offers an exceptionally high standard of accommodation with all the comforts of modern living including a/c throughout, DVD and Sat TV.

On the first level, there is a spacious open plan room with living and dining areas and a fully equipped kitchen. The mezzanine level which is a common feature of traditional island houses has 2 single beds. The second level of the villa has 1 master bedroom which features a traditional four poster bed and en-suite shower room, and a 2nd double bedroom also with four poster bed. All rooms have fabulous views over the sea.

Outside is the private swimming pool with a decked area for sunbathing, a large dining table for al fresco dining and plenty of sun-loungers and chairs from which to take in the view – this side of the island enjoys particularly spectacular sunsets. From the deck, there are steps leading directly down to the beach.

Within an easy 10 min walk (or 2 mins by car) is the charming village of Agios Nikitas where cars are prohibited from its narrow, winding streets. This is a very pretty village with a mass of vibrantly coloured flowers and Neo-Classical houses painted in traditional colours of ochre, loulaki blue, terracotta and burnt oxide. Agios Nikitas has a good selection of shops, bars and tavernas and the village is an ideal place to sit and relax and enjoy excellent, local cuisine and some low-key nightlife at the water’s edge. From the beach of Agios Nikitas, there is a regular water taxi that takes guests to the white sand beaches of Kathisma and Pefkulia which have to be amongst Lefkada’s most stunning.
