Petros

Equipped with 175 hp Suzuki outboard engine plus an additional 15 hp engine there is more than enough power to give your family or group of friends all the thrills and spills of a day out on the water.

Petros is licensed for up to 13 people but we recommend a maximum of 8 plus the skipper. Our professional skipper Konstantis was raised in the area of Achaia and knows all the best spots for fishing, bays for swimming, great snorkelling locations, terrific fish tavernas and much more in order to guide you in getting the maximum out of your day.

Petros is equipped with full safety equipment, cool box, stereo, bimini tent for shade, Simrad fish finder and plotter with Greek charts, stereo, wakeboard and water-sport toys plus fishing and snorkelling equipment. Basically, Petros is ready to give you the best day imaginable in the Gulf of Corinth.

We have organised several day trips to give guests less familiar with the area an idea of what is on offer.

Trizonia - about 30 minutes across the gulf is the island of Trizonia. To make the most of the day we recommend an early start. before Trizonia there are a series of short or long stop offs depending on the wishes of our guests, you! There are caves to explore, hidden beaches accessible only by boat, little islands inhabited by wild goats, perfect snorkelling spots and more. We recommend a lunch stop in Trizonia or a fisherman's tavern located above one of the hidden little beaches with crystal clear waters and spoils from the local seas. Trizonia itself is interesting with a large harbour frequented by travelling yachtsmen. It offers a choice of three or four tavernas all serving traditional Greek food, several cafes and a beach bar. On the backside of the island are some further remote bays for swimming before or after lunch. 

Galaxidi - about 30 minutes across the gulf is the Venetian styled fishing village of Galaxidi. So picturesque you wont believe why more people don't visit it. There are several super bays and little islands to explore and the whole area is protected from the winds so it's fabulous for wakeboarding and general messing around in the boat. There are several great fish tavernas in Galaxidi along with some beautiful spots for a swim and siesta after lunch. Usually we time the return across the gulf to make sun downers at the beach bar of Skaraveos which is famous for the cocktails they make. 

Delphi. It is possible to combine a trip to Galaxidi (described above) with visiting the ancient site of Delphi so long as you're prepared for an early start. We can arrange for a taxi to escort you from Itea (extra) to the ancient site and bring you back to the boat in time for us to whisk you off for some lunch in Galaxidi. We've seen Dolphins many times on the way back and its also possible to swim with them in the deep waters of the Gulf of Corinth.

Messing about on the Peloponnesian coast - There are some super bays and undiscovered spots for snorkelling along the coast line of Achaia between Xylokastro and Egio. Enjoy all the facilities of the boat and spend the fuel on fun rather than accessing Trizonia and Galaxidi on the far side of the gulf. There are four super fish restaurants which can all be accessed from the boat and at the end of the day when the sun goes down we can stop for sundowners in one of the local beach bars. Snorkelling in abundance!

Fishing trips - make the most out of our Simrad fish finder and fishing knowledge. We offer fishing trips once the sun goes down and have the local knowledge of where to go and what to fish. Prices are Euro 90/hr for fishing.

We're flexible! it's up to you where you go and what you do, Konstantis is more than happy to make sure you and all on board arrive safely and can offer his expert knowledge on the area but remember, that the fuel you consume is an additional charge to be paid at the end. We monitor digitally the fuel consumed but to give you a guide, Petros' engine consumes about a litre a nautical mile. Galaxidi is 15 miles from the mooring.
