Located on the south side of Kefalonia in a traditional setting, this villa has been designed in the Italianate style of the island. The dusky terracotta exterior blends perfectly with the minimalist style interiors.
The entire ground floor is a light open plan space with living area, dining area and stylish kitchen. The white, modern furnishings throughout are comfortable and elegant. Large glass doors lead out to the pool terrace and outdoor dining area overlooking the pool and garden with the island of Dias shimmering in the distance.
From the open plan living area, stairs lead to the two bedrooms on the upper level. There is a master bedroom with king-size bed and en-suite bathroom with bath and shower; the second bedroom has twin beds also with en-suite bathroom with shower. Both bathrooms are very well-appointed with beautiful marble tiles. Both bedrooms also have sea views.
The villa has air-conditioning throughout, TV, DVD, i-pod docking station and WIFI.
Outside is a spacious terrace. In front, there is a large private swimming pool (40sqm) with plenty of loungers for sunbathing around the pool. There is an outdoor dining table for six and barbecue facilities under the shade of a pergola. Surrounding the property is a large garden with lawns as well as shade from trees so guests can really enjoy the outside area at all times of the day or evening.
The villa is walking distance to a very pretty, quiet local beach which is usually sandy (approx 5 mins walk). For those wanting more facilities, the long sandy beach at Avithos with its sun loungers, tavernas and cafes is about a 5 min drive away. The villa is also close driving distance (approx 1km) to the traditional village of Kleismata which has various tavernas and a small supermarket. The main town of the island, Argostoli, is about 10 mins by car - it has a great variety of traditional tavernas, some quite sophisticated restaurants, bars, cafes around the marina, a wonderful daily fruit and vegetable market, plenty of shops and fresh fish sold off the caique boats in the quay.
This villa is ideal for guests wanting to find a traditional setting for their holiday but enjoy a villa with modern and stylish facilities. It is a perfect property for couples and families alike.

A marvellous holiday. Our favourite beach was Palio Linos! Yes, Myrtos is spectacular. But you can't beat having the place to yourself and being able to walk there. We would love to come back some time.

We had a fantastic time and loved the Villa. It was very relaxing and
just what we were hoping for.
The Villa felt very private, had a lovely pool and
garden and the beach at the end of the road was perfect for us and we visited many times.

We had a lovely time/ The villa was perfect for the 4 of us. The owners were lovely and sorted out a couple of minor things straight away. The maid was really good and kept the villa spotless.
We would definitely look at booking again if we came back to Kephalonia.
