Situated at the foot of Mount Plouki on the island of Skopelos and surrounded by pine and olive trees, Villa Acaste is a unique property nicely decorated with high quality furniture where the blue of the interiors echoes the blue of the sea which is visible from every room in the house.
Entering the villa there is a bright open plan space with large windows overlooking the sea and exposed wooden beamed ceiling painted in white. Here there is a spacious living area with fireplace, dining area and a fully equipped kitchen. From the living area there are stairs leading to the spectacular master bedroom with its 180 degrees views. This room has its own en-suite bathroom with shower. From the living room another staircase leads to the main bathroom with shower, two twin bedrooms and a day room with large windows and day bed to enjoy a peaceful time reading a book or having a quick nap.
A gentle paved path leads to the pool terrace which is surrounded by olive trees and native plants from Skopelos. Around the swimming pool there are comfortable sun beds where guests can relax and enjoy the sun and the beautiful view to the sea.
The villa is located only 2 km away from the main town of Skopelos and 5km from some of the island’s best beaches. The location of the property is ideal for people who enjoy walking as there are a number of old mule trails and paths in the surrounding hillsides plus a steep access to the sea if one wants to be more adventurous. However, car hire is recommended. For guests who enjoy watersports, Elia beach is about 22 km away from the villa and boat hire is available at Panormos beach approx 20km away.
