Villa Amalthia is situated above Porto Heli close to the prestigious Aman Resort, and benefits from sweeping views over the entire coast with the island of Spetses lying below in the bay.

On the ground floor level there is a large living room and dining room and a separate, well equipped kitchen and guest wc. Large French style windows open up onto an terrace which has comfortable furniture for relaxing and admiring the impressive view. The furnishings are tasteful and comfortable throughout blending contemporary styling with ethnic touches. There is a certain earthiness in the colour scheme that is punctuated by detailed pieces of decorative furniture.
On the upper level are two large double bedrooms. The blue bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with shower and doors leading to a private patio. The acqua double bedroom has a four poster bed and en-suite bathroom with shower, and a very large veranda with spectacular views.
In a separate two storey wing opposite the main house are the three remaining double bedrooms. On the upper level is the rose bedroom which has an en-suite bathroom with shower and doors to a lovely veranda. The lower half of the building has a separate outside entrance where there is the yellow bedroom with large en-suite bathroom with shower. Doors from this room lead out to the pool terrace. The entrance to the fifth bedroom is from the rear of the wing - this is the orange bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower.
Each bedroom offers a similar standard of decoration and each en-suite bathroom is finished in a colourful sculpted concrete, punctuated with Byzantine tiles.
The outside area has been furnished to a very high level and there are comfortable places to relax at every part of the day. The poolside bar makes for a great spot to watch the sunset with that favourite cocktail next to the pool and the patio is punctuated by old olive trees and surrounded by a citrus garden. There is a large marble outdoor dining table, barbecue, fridge and sink. There are steps into the pool and a diving platform as well as an outdoor shower and WC.
The villa has air-conditioning throughout, WIFI, DVD, CD and Sat TV.
Its location is ideal being in a tranquil and private spot surrounded by countryside yet only about 10 mins drive from the centre of Porto Heli with its marina, bars, cafes, restaurants and shops. The nearest beaches are about a 5 min drive away.

We had an amazing time at the Amalthia villa, it was perfect. The house itself was beautiful and very pratical with a lot of attention to details and comfort. Neema, the house keeper, was very helpful. I really don't have anything to say that would have made our stay more enjoyable, everything was perfect.
