Just 400m above Armenopetra beach with stunning panoramic views over the Aegean Sea lies Villa Amphitrite, a beautiful property of modern design with a high level of comfort situated in a quiet and serene environment.
The villa is on two levels. The main entrance door leads into a spacious open plan room with exposed wooden beams on the ceiling and large windows. There is a comfortable living area with fireplace and satellite TV, a dining area and a fully equipped kitchen. A door from the kitchen leads to the built-in bbq and outside dining area. Large sliding glass doors from the living and dining areas open up to a large shaded verandah with stunning views to the sea. There guests can enjoy dining al-fresco at either of the two dining tables where there is also a gas mobile bbq, or sit and relax enjoying the beautiful sea view from the outside living area. From the other end of the open plan space there is a corridor leading to the two bedrooms on this level. Both bedrooms are beautifully furnished with high quality materials and have a double bed and their own bathroom. They have large windows which lead to the main verandah with superb views across the Aegean Sea.
A staircase leads down to the lower level where there are three more bedrooms. A fabulous master suite which has a double bed and en-suite bathroom as well as a large sitting area with comfortable sofas. Large glass doors have access to the lower terrace, which is furnished with table and chairs where guests can enjoy the beautiful view to the sea. On this level there are two more bedrooms each with a double bed and en-suite bathroom which also have access to the lower terrace with panoramic views.
Villa Amphitrite is located only 10 mins. drive away from the old town of Glossa with its restaurants, cafes, super markets and shops. The busier main town of Skopelos is about a 45 min. drive from the villa and has numerous shops, tavernas and cafes along the harbour-front. There are motor boats for hire in Panormos and kayaking and stand-up paddle boarding available in Elios/Neo Klima. There is a new diving center in Skopelos Town and many walking trails across the island for guests who enjoy hiking. The beach at Armenopetra is one of the quietest beaches, even in peak season, but visitors can also enjoy more lively beaches just a short drive away, such as Milia and Kastani. The beautiful long beach at Panormos is a little further down the island which overlooks the uninhabited island of Dassia and has a few tavernas. There is also a small beach with snack bar at Agios Ioannis, but most people go there in order to visit the small church which sits on top of a rock which was featured in Mamma Mia! and is the choice of a lot of couples for their wedding.
This is a great villa for 2 families or a group of friends looking for a high quality villa in a quiet and private setting yet close to some excellent beaches, restaurants, bars and watersports.
