Excellent 3 bedroom villa with large private pool, close to beach and in a quiet part of southern Kefalonia.
Villa Anastasia is ideal for family of up to six or two couples wanting an easy holiday in peaceful surroundings with beach and amenities close by.
Villa Anastasia is situated in a traditional and quiet area on the southern side of the island where many of the best sandy beaches are found. The property sits on a large, private estate with views out over the sea towards the uninhabited island of Dias. The villa combines the benefits of having both a private pool and being only 180m distance from the beach.
The villa is all on one level. There is a very spacious open plan main room with comfortable living area with sofas and armchairs, a dining area for 6 and a smart and very well-equipped kitchen. French windows lead out onto a large outdoor terrace overlooking the pool and garden. There are 2 double bedrooms and 1 twin bedroom and 2 bathrooms. All the furnishings and fittings throughout are of excellent quality.
The villa is surrounded by a huge garden that overlooks the sea. The outdoor dining terrace has a large dining table and barbecue facilities. Beyond this terrace is a large private swimming pool (40sqm) with plenty of teak loungers for sunbathing around the pool.
A small country road leads down to a very pretty, quiet local beach which is usually sandy (approx 5 mins walk). For those wanting more facilities, the long sandy beach at Avithos with its sun loungers, tavernas and cafes is about a 5 min drive away. The nearest tavernas are about 1km away (3 mins by car - it is uphill to the village and tavernas so a car is necessary). The main town of the island, Argostoli, is about 10 mins by car - it has a great variety of traditional tavernas, some quite sophisticated restaurants, bars, cafes around the marina, a wonderful daily fruit and vegetable market, plenty of shops and fresh fish sold off the caique boats in the quay.

Yes we had such a great time! It was so quiet at the beaches, we almost had them to ourselves! You’re right, it was a little windy and a storm on 1 day but other than that, it was hot and very good.

villa was perfect and included everything as advertised. The
information sheets left in the villa were also very helpful and enhanced our stay, with ideas and recommendations in the local area. We loved our stay and would recommend to our friends!
On a separate note, we are booked to stay once again in Villa Gaia next year. We are all very excited about returning, having had a wonderful week there in September 2018.

We had a great time in Kefalonia. The villa was a great base for all our trips out to beaches, after relaxing by the pool in the morning. It was clean and comfortable and the pool was just fantastic ! Our cleaning lady was super friendly, albeit understandably communication was tricky. She did a great job. Beautiful villa in a beautiful location. We loved Kefalonia !
Now back to the British Summer and normal life

Thank you so much for all your help. The house and cleaner were incredible. It was just the most perfect holiday in such an amazingly pretty island. The beach at the bottom of the hill was a real gem. The teenagers ran to Spartia most mornings and id meet them there for
fresh orange juice. Everyone is so friendly.

We had an absolutely wonderful time thank you, everything was perfect in the villa from beginning to end.
Just one point I'll mention, it's nothing major but as you ask for
feedback.
It wasn't clear to us that the wonderful cleaner was popping in twice
during the week which was a real bonus, to change sheets, wash the floor and empty the bins. I think that she was a little surprised that we'd emptied the bins and swept the floor as we went along, she said at the end it was her job.
Anyway it was a lovely surprise that added to the quality of the place.
We would certainly look at booking with you again.

We would definitely rent the villa again should we ever return to Kefalonia.
