Villa Anouk is located on the hill of Kounoupas with fabulous views right out over the Aegean Sea to the islands of Delos, Paros, Naxos, Ios and Sikinos. It has been designed in the traditional style of the island with sculpted white ‘tsimentogonia’ walls with the earth-brown stone of the island. Its outside spaces, views and gorgeous pool are the features that make it a wonderful choice for a family.
The villa is located on two levels. The ground floor has a well-equipped kitchen and living room with comfortable furnishings and a gallery area that has an office/double bedroom with access to the upstairs terrace. A nice touch are the ceilings throughout made in the traditional way from natural reeds. French windows lead to the wonderful terrace, pool and outside areas. An archway from the living area leads through to the first two bedrooms. There is a double bedroom with separate bathroom, as well as a 2nd double bedroom with en-suite bathroom.
Upstairs is the master bedroom with en-suite bathroom featuring a Jacuzzi bath-tub. This bedroom has access to a wonderful terrace with panoramic views right out over the Cycladic islands.
Outside there is a really beautiful lagoon-shaped pool surrounded by stone patios. Just beyond the pool is a lovely outdoor dining area covered by a pergola as well as outdoor living area with tasteful furnishings. There is a barbecue with traditional bread/pizza oven and in front a huge, mature cactus tree.
The villa has WIFI, air-conditioning throughout and a daily maid service. A cook can be arranged at an extra cost.
This is an easily accessible property from Mykonos Town being just 4kms away. There are plenty of beaches, shops and tavernas within a 5 min drive.
All in all, this is a good family property or villa for a group of friends to relax and have fun on one of Greece’s most sought-after islands.
