Villa Antigone is a luxury three bedroom villa in a small collection of villas situated in a beautiful position above Pefkouli bay on the western side of Lefkada. It is in a private position with its own horizon swimming pool surrounded by gardens and natural pine forest.
The main entrance is on the upper level: There is a very large open plan living room which is elegant and comfortably furnished with spacious dining area and very well-equipped kitchen with full cooking facilities including a dishwasher. French windows lead from the living area onto a spacious veranda with dining area overlooking the pool and bay below. On this level there is also a well-appointed bathroom with WC and shower.
On the lower level, there are three bedrooms: The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with bath and shower. Two further guest bedrooms have beds that can be made up either as doubles or two singles. These two bedrooms share a bathroom with bath and shower. All bedrooms have French Windows leading out onto the peaceful pool terrace surrounded by pine trees. The horizon swimming pool (9m x 6m) has plenty of areas for sunbathing as well as areas for reading or relaxing in the shade.
The villa is beautifully furnished throughout with all modern conveniences including dishwasher, WIFI, SAT TV with LCD TV, and barbecue. There is a large air-conditioning unit in the main living area and all bedrooms have remote controlled ceiling fans.
A very short drive down the hill from Villa Antigone is the traditional village of Agios Nikitas where cars are prohibited from its narrow, winding streets. There you will find a selection of shops, bars and tavernas – the village is an ideal place to sit and relax and enjoy excellent, local cuisine and some low-key nightlife. From the sandy beach of Agios Nikitas, there is a regular water taxi that takes guests to the white sand beaches of Kathisma and Pefkoulia which have to be amongst Lefkada’s most stunning.
Although Villa Antigone is a private villa, it can be rented in conjuction with the two Villa Aphrodites, Villa Polymnia or the three Villa Narkissias found within the same collection.
