Situated above one of the prettiest coves in the Peloponnese, Villa Aria is a rare find. Direct access to a sandy beach with crystal clear waters, a tennis court and facilities for water sports, (windsurfers, stand up paddle, dinghies, blow up toys for the kiddies), this gorgeous property sleeping up to 16 guests is one of the most perfect villas in our collection.
Set within beautifully maintained gardens full of mature, indigenous shrubs and trees, Villa Aria offers all the luxuries of a Mediterranean sanctuary.
Entering into the property the initial impression is impressive. The main house is Italianate in style reflecting the influence that the Venetian Republic had on the history of the area. Painted in cream with green shutters the architecture of the villa fits perfectly with the surrounding landscape.
The main entrance is to the rear of the building, conveniently located next to the large parking area. There is a large living room furnished to very high standards with comfortable modern seating in pale coffee and French doors windows running along the seafront aspect of the villa.
A fully equipped kitchen with all modern conveniences makes the preparation of delicious meals a delight for the chefs of the group. There is an indoor breakfast table with ample seating. A door leads from the kitchen onto a large outside terrace with stone columns supporting a wooden pergola giving a delicious shade over the table below. This is a lovely environment for long evening suppers with views over the palm trees and bay below the house.
The Main House has 4 bedrooms, the first is on the living room level and consists of a large, comfortable double bed with ensuite facilities. French doors lead directly onto the sea facing terrace outside.
Leading upstairs there is a double bedroom with French windows onto a private balcony overlooking the sea. The third double bedroom has built in wardrobes, no balcony but lovely views. The fourth bedroom has a double bed and French windows and balcony looking over the sea.
Two bathrooms service all three bedrooms upstairs. The first is a full bathroom with bath tub, and the second is a shower room. The bathrooms are beautifully finished with high quality fixtures and fittings.
The basement area of the house is accessed from beneath the dining terrace. There is a fully equipped kitchen and open plan sitting area with colourful sofas and chairs. Some of the sofas can be used for extra sleeping arrangements if needed. Funky pieces of art give this basement level a sense of fun. There are two bedrooms on this level - the first twin bedroom is presented in creams with funky artwork which give the room a lovely modern twist. There is an ensuite shower room which is large and decorated in terracotta. The second is a double bedroom painted in olive with built in wardrobes and use of a separate wc and shower room which is located off the living room area.
Back outside and below the BBQ area is a guest house next to the tennis court. There are two bedrooms in the guest house - a twin and a double both sharing a WC/shower room which is furnished with high quality fixtures and fittings and perfect for a family of four. The guest house bedrooms are a similar standard to all other bedrooms in the property.
The property has central heating and a marvellous private swimming pool that can be heated making it a perfect solution at all times of the year. (Please note heating of the swimming pool is at an extra cost).
The tennis court is full size with ample space behind the baseline for good players to perform a perfect backhand shot! The gardens of Golden Coves are huge. With so many areas to sit and relax you would never feel that you could not find that private moment to escape with a book or chat to a friend. There is direct access to the beach via a charming pathway. The villa has a variety of water sports facilities including a sailing dinghy, windsurfers, stand-up paddle board and inflatable toys for kids. There is a separate, large BBQ area built in stone which overlooks the tennis court.
Villa Aria is located close to Kilada which is a charming little seaside village with a choice of excellent fish tavernas. The marina town of Porto Heli is about a 15 minute drive away where there is boat hire, some watersports, restaurants and shops as well as easy access to the chic and sophisticated island of Spetses (5 minutes by water taxi from nearby Kosta harbour). Ermioni is not far away (20 minutes drive) offering a wide range of tavernas to sample, and with direct access to the picturesque island of Hydra. The town of Nafplion with its Venetian styled square is also a short drive away.
This is an ideal summer home for a large group of friends wanting to enjoy each others company in luxurious surroundings with all the facilities to keep the entire group happy.

We had a very very pleasant stay. The house is absolutely amazing and we spent many full days around the house to enjoy it to the max. I think we used almost every activity available in and around the house!
