Villa Arianna is a substantial 19th Century Barn House comprising a main house and two guest houses. It is in a very private position being set in a large walled garden and at the end of a quiet laneway with just the hills of Spetses behind.
Close walking distance to the local beaches, tavernas and shops this large historical property with its three separate wings is ideal for two or three families who love to holiday together but also enjoy their own independence. Guests can enjoy a wonderful private swimming pool and garden set in a secluded and quiet position. A daily houskeeper who can prepare breakfast is included in the price. Cooking can also be arranged.
A doorway from the lane leads through the metre-thick wall into the garden which is shaded by impressive mature palm trees. At the lowest level of the garden is the first guest house. This is a very sweet, traditional style studio space comprising an open plan living room with traditional in-built sofa that runs on two sides of the living room with the sofa separating the king-size bed on the other side. To the far end of the space is a kitchenette that is nicely equipped including hob, dishwasher, bar fridge and espresso machine, and off the kitchen area is a bathroom with shower. Outside is a stone patio with coffee table and chairs set out in a peaceful position under the trees.
Thick-cut stone steps lead up to the next level of the garden and to the second guest house. This is also a studio space but has recently been renovated to provide a very smart, modern style living area with L-shaped sofa and SAT TV, queen-size double bed and a well equipped kitchenette including hob, dishwasher and fridge. There is an en-suite bathroom with shower and a handy entrance from the living area directly into the laneway.
Continuing up the garden is the main house of the property. It is a beautiful two storey house with three bedrooms that has recently been fully renovated. A long arched veranda runs the length of the house and provides the main living area for guests with comfortable outdoor sofas, armchairs and within easy proximity to the outdoor dining area.
Entering the main house, there is an open plan room with fabulous Gaggenau kitchen with dining area, and small living area with in-built sofas and TV and DVD. This is a kitchen for serious cooks who love entertaining. A door from the kitchen leads out to the laneway which is useful for getting the grocery shopping easily into the house.
Upstairs is a very elegant master bedroom suite with king-size bed which can also be separated into twin beds, living area with TV and very smart, modern en-suite bathroom with shower. Doors lead to a veranda with wonderful views of both the sea in front and the pine forest behind. Across the landing is a delightful room with two single beds and doors also leading to the veranda. This bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom with shower. Adjacent to the main house and with its own private entrance from the garden is a third bedroom which is very peaceful and airy with in-built double/twin bed and very stylish modern bathroom in marble and glass with shower. In addition there is a utility house with washing machine.
The garden is delightfully planted with a profusion of colourful flowers. In a quiet spot to the side of the main veranda is the outdoor dining area for ten with barbecue shaded by a large umbrella. The focal point of the garden is the lovely pool (7.5m x 4m) with sun loungers and a lounge area with built-in seating area and large umbrella. The pool is surrounded by lawns making it ideal for small children to run and play.
The property has air-conditioning throughout. There is SAT TV, WIFI and music system. A daily housekeeper who prepares breakfast and cleans is provided for four hours each day. The housekeeper can also cook time-permitting, but extra hours for cooking can also be arranged.
Villa Arianna is very well located and is close walking distance to the local beach at Kounoupitsa and to the local tavernas including the excellent Patralis fish taverna who will also deliver to the villa. There is a mini-market, butchers and various cafes also within easy reach. Kaiki beach with its sunbeds, umbrellas, watersports and lively beach bar surrounded by pristine nature and with crystal clear waters is about a 10 min walk away. In the other direction, the heart of Spetses Town is also easily reached in about 10 mins by foot.
Villa Arianna with its three separate buildings is an ideal holiday house for two or three families or a group of friends who relish spending time together but also appreciate having some independence whilst holidaying together. Since the property is within easy reach of amenities, all guests can enjoy the freedom to come and go without relying on transport.

We had a fabulous week in Spetses, the villa was absolutely perfect for our two families. We had a wonderful stay at Villa Arianna in Spetses. The house was beautiful with a lovely garden. Maria came each day and kept it very clean and comfortable. We had Sophia to cook and she made fabulous home cooked Greek food which won our hearts and made us overeat terribly. It was so nice to discover the local cuisine. We also had some great meals out, especially at Petralis and Tarsanas. We drove round the island on a quad and also visited Hydra for a day. The local people were super friendly, particularly nice and welcoming towards the children. Your company was extremely helpful with all the arrangements. We really appreciated the prompt helpful responses - even at weekends - and the extra effort you went to to set everything up for us, including the taxis, the shopping and the chef and babysitter. It was really stand out service and made our lives so much easier. Thank you. Please also pass on our thanks to Aris Konidi the owner who showed us around and was very genial. Have a great rest of the summer!

We had the most fabulous holiday at Villa Arianna. The villa itself was really wonderful and it was lovely to be greeted at the ferry by the owner. The decor was of a really high quality and relaxing style and the layout and all items worked really well. Maria, the housekeeper, was a really lovely woman who was very helpful and made our holiday so memorable. She was very helpful with translating for us and helping to organise transport, restaurant bookings, and anything we asked for. She was also wonderful with the children and they loved her. When we arrived at the villa the owner had stocked the fridge and pantry with some essentials so we could just relax and settle in, which was a surprise and very welcoming. Maria even baked us a cake which was a lovely warm gesture that we really appreciated and makes such a difference to how the whole holiday felt. I would definitely recommend Villa Arianna and Spetses to other travellers and we do hope to get back there again in the future. Thank you again to Pretty Greek Villas for helping to organise our holiday. We had a wonderful time and are missing Greece terribly. My 5 year old daughter cried for the whole ferry ride from Spetses to Athens and she did not want to leave!

We loved Villa Ariana and Maria and Panagiotis couldnít have been more helpful and friendly, always busy but supportive in the background. The house itself was perfect for our family and friends and its position just right. We would certainly come back again if travelling in a large group.

You provided a great service so thanks! The Villa was perfect such a high standard and Arianna and her husband were lovely. They left lots of little extras for our stay which made the whole experience really memorable. The villa is also in a great location as close to town but far enough away to be quiet at night. Lisa the cook was excellent as well if you want to use her again.

Firstly, your company has been a pleasure to deal with. It is so nice to send an email and get a response back quickly and with the information requested answered. Everyone I dealt with either by email or the phone, including Anna, Marie-Louise and yourself, have been fantastic, so friendly and still very professional making me feel like I have used your services many times before! Villa Ariana was brilliant!!! Everything we hoped for and more. We always stay in hotels and were a little nervous about the villa experience, but it certainly made our stay in Spetses very special. The villa was extremely well appointed, with lots of nice touches, including the Korres products, nespresso machines and the fruit and groceries provided. By the end of the week we felt like it was home. Maria the cleaning lady was delightful as were the owners. We highly recommend the villa for discerning travellers. We so thoroughly enjoyed our stay that we are looking at returning next year and have also looked at your website to see what is available on other islands. Also, I have passed on your details to many friends who also travel extensively, as we so enjoyed the villa experience and your companyís excellent service.
