Art Villa is located in a magnificent position with panoramic sunset views right out over the Aegean Sea. It is surrounded by extensive grounds of 1.5 acres (6000sqm) which include an orchard of over 150 fruit trees and 50 olive trees most of which are between 500 - 1000 years old. Whilst the villa is private and secluded, it takes only 6 mins or so to drive to the charming fishing village of Perdika as well as to four sandy beaches. As the name suggests, the villa is an art lover's paradise with an art collection that harmonises perfectly with its surroundings creating a relaxing, comfortable and unique environment.

The central level of the villa is very spacious containing a large living area with comfortable sofas and armchairs, an elegant dining area and a very spacious and well-equipped kitchen. The panoramic sea views from the glass doors running the length of the front of the property are breathaking. Three sets of glass doors lead onto a superb outdoor terrace and swimming pool with stone steps leading down to the garden which is filled with olive trees, pistachios, pomegranates and citrus.

From the living area, a few steps lead up to the first two bedrooms: There is a master bedroom with ensuite bathroom and private balcony with wonderful sea views. The 2nd bedroom has a double bed and ensuite bathroom and views over the hills. Both of these bedrooms and the central level of the villa have air-conditioning.

From the living area, a staircase leads down to a double-height library decorated with many unique artistic pieces. On this level, there is also a TV lounge with comfortable sofas, Blue Ray TV, DVD player and a library of over 700 DVDs from which to choose. This lounge also benefits from the floor to ceiling windows that are featured throughout the property so from this level you have the same panoramic sea views. Steps also lead down to the garden from this level. A small hallway off the lounge leads to a small double bedroom with shower room next to it with new air-conditioning unit. (Please note that this bedroom does not have a window.)

Descending to the next level, there is a spacious double bedroom with double bed and single bed as well as an en-suite bathroom with shower. This bedroom has its own private patio nestled into the surrounding garden and is very quiet and tucked away with beautiful views. This bedroom also has air-conditioning.

Outside, the property features a very large private pool with American salt-chlorination system which is one of the healthiest types of systems leaving no smell of chlorine on the skin and with the feeling of swimming through pure water. The pool also features hydro-massage jets, and guests can work out naturally by swimming against the exercise feature within the pool. At the far end of the pool is an exceptional outdoor kitchen with professional standard barbecue facilities. The outdoor dining area, shaded by a covered pergola, is just above the pool area and features a stunning teak table, chairs and bench so guests can enjoy al-fresco dining in elegant surroundings. A wonderful feature are the two Bose speakers hidden in the trees so that guests can listen to their music whilst swimming or relaxing in the garden. Two ipods are provided with 10,000 tracks, and the villa also has an Arcam hi-fi system.

The entire pool terrace has superb views over Moni Island with mile upon mile of deep blue sea beyond. A pathway planted with many varieties of aromatic species leads above the barbecue area where there is a large marble table set out under the shade of an age-old olive tree. This is a perfect place to sit and relax quietly whilst contemplating the view. The entire property is surrounded by unspoilt nature and includes a private olive grove, orchards filled with over 150 fruit trees of all kinds (including pear, cherries, apples, pomegranates and citrus) and an organic vegetable garden - all the seasonal produce can be enjoyed by the guests. The garden is terraced with traditional stone-built walls and there are plenty of places to escape and relax surrounded by nature.

The picturesque fishing village of Perdika with its excellent fish restaurants and small marina is about a 10 min drive away. Being on the south side of the island, the property is close to some of the best beaches on the island - beautiful Klima Klidi with its crystal clear waters and pine-fringed sandy beach is only about 5 mins drive away, the sandy beach at Sarpa with its loungers and umbrellas is also within easy driving distance as is Marathonas beach which is thought to be one of the best on the island as well as Aiginitissa beach which is perfect for families with small children. Aegina Town with its mixture of both sophisticated cafe-bars lining the quayside as well as traditional tavernas, artistic shops and colourful markets is about a 20 min drive away. Moni Island can be accessed by water taxi – about 10 mins across the bay. Here you can relax on the beach and swim in the most crystal clear waters on an island inhabited only by rare species of deer, goats and peacocks. This is a protected island and the only development that has been allowed is the small beach bar at the top of the main beach.

The poolman visits every other day early in the morning so as not to disturb guests. The houskeeper also comes every other day. The housekeeper will also do guests' laundry and ironing - this is charged at Euro 25 per laundry load.

The price of the villa below includes a stocked fridge upon arrival, home-made bread and jams, fruits from the estate, and a traditional Greek meal prepared by the housekeeper during the holiday.

Tanya & Family arrived 20 October 2021
We had such a delightful experience from the moment we booked our holiday.  I need to add that both George and Marie-Louise were incredibly helpful too and I am thankful for that.

Art Villa is situated in an idyllic spot both from the perspective of the view of the surrounding countryside and for those outdoor enthusiasts who enjoy a ramble up the mountains.  The house itself had everything we needed as a family of four from a well equipped kitchen to a lovely swimming pool and fresh fruit from the orchards on the property.  Both Dimitris and his housekeeper, Sofia, were always on hand and we really appreciated the welcoming home cooked meal and willingness to give us helpful hints for exploring the island.  We loved being so close to Perdika for the great restaurants and easy access to Moni island and Klima beach.  The children came to love our spot on the mountain and were never bored with the orchards and hills to explore from the house.  Going into Aegina was no problem either and getting around the island super easy too.  Dimitris arranged our car hire and everybody we dealt with was super friendly.  All in all Dimitris and the lovely people of Aegina were the epitome of Greek hospitality; generous, warm and welcoming.

Thank you all so much again and we hope to see you again soon.

Thank you for organizing the trip, the hosts and the place were excellent despite the short amount of time we spent there

The villa is beautifully designed and the views are stunning. Everything we needed was there, and it was immaculately clean.... The pool was great, too, we never once needed to skim it, as the filtration system is excellent. Because the villa is airconditioned, we slept fantastically well. We highly recommend the villa to anyone who enjoys 5 star hotels but with the privacy and seclusion of a private home.

Very good value, incredible view!!! The Villa is filled with lovely artwork and has 4 bedrooms. The pool is exceptionally well maintained. The housekeeper, Sophia, cooked moussaka and baklava that were exceptional and she was coming often. Early in the mornings we were hearing the sounds of goats being shepparded through the trails at the edges of the villaís boundaries. The experience of being in a small village, while enjoying the luxury of the villa.

I had a weeks sailing from Piraeus to Spetse and return which was wonderful but tiring and wanted a relaxing second week.
Wonderful views from our master bedroom and all the facilities that a tired traveller would want.

We are two families with four children from Norway. It's been three days since we left and still we cannot believe how nice it was. The house is amazing with a unique architecture. The sunset every day was different with amazing colors. The water in the swimming pool is without chlorine, as in the sea, and you enjoy your own stereo music through the trees. You find it difficult to believe and you are looking for speakers.

Fruits. Oh !!! We had never before the experience to cut fruit from the trees. Oranges, lemons and apricots when we were there but also peaches, pears, plums, grapes and figs that will come to maturity later.

The cleanliness is stunning, pool towels, all deck chairs are made of teak and an awesome sofa bed with canopy for the sun, on wheels from 32 to 35∞C degrees, almost summer.

We did not use to leave the house often, the dishes prepared by Sofia were great. Within 5 minutes we reached the isolated sandy beach Sarpa, with crystal waters, ideal for children and games.
Moni & Agistri islands are wonderful nearby destinations.

I could continue writing forever.
We will definitely return ...
We unconditionally recommend it.

We left the snowy Boston and we arrived at a dreamy place full of colors and smells. Colors and smells from flowering trees. The pool was stunning with opposite swimming and hydro massage and the water was cold. The weather was amazing. The house better than the photos. The beds were great, we relaxed. Everything was clean. Great service. We broiled at the barbecue: fantastic design and one day Sophia cooked meat in the stone oven by the pool. There are no words. Although it was relatively early (April) we had a great time, listening to the birds chirp and watching the wild partridges walking among the trees.
Awesome!

The house is built in a wonderful place where from the guest has a magnificent view to the Aegean Sea, the nearby islands and the picturesque village of Perdika. The land, where the house is built, is very large and full of fruit trees available to the guests. The children were really excited with eating fruits directly from the trees.

The villa itself is decorated with an artistic feeling and living there is a real pleasure. A fully equipped kitchen is included, yet you can rely on Mrs Sofia, the lady from the nearby village of Sfentouri who does the cleaning, to cook for you really tasteful homemade food from local cuisine.

It is really relaxing, especially in the afternoon during the sunset, to sit by the pool and enjoy the view, while drinking a glass of wine produced and offered by the owner of the house.

The island offers a variety of places to visit such as archeological sites, beautiful beaches, restaurants etc.

Our family, with friends, 8 people in total, stayed there for 2 weeks during last September. We were absolutely satisfied and hope we will be able to be there again very soon.

We had a brilliant holiday - Greece is such a welcoming country.
Between us, Nina and I had much help from you in deciding which villa would be best for us and you were all exceedingly kind in providing information on hire cars, ferries, etc.
I am sure we will use Pretty Greek villas again in the future and
again thanks for all your help.

Best wishes
Ping R.

Set high on a hill, above the beautiful fishing of Perdika. From the moment you see the house on your way up the hill you know it is special but only when you arrive do you realise just how special. It is a modern gem of of a house with views to take your breath away. Once you have marvelled at the gorgeous swimming pool you step inside this oasis. A generous kitchen/dinner/ living space has everything you could possible need and all four of the spacious bedrooms have en suite facilities.

As if this wasn't enough the house is surrounded by land in which you will find peach trees, fig trees, olive groves and a small vineyard.
The owners are very generous hosts who made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived and supplied us with an array of local and homemade products including their own wine, olive oil, Grappa and honey. All totally sublime.

It is a house that allows you to totally relax and you can spend many a happy hour just sitting round the pool looking at the stunning scenery. Perdika itself has many excellent restaurants, a good super market and bakery and Aegina town is also well worth visiting for a evening or two.

As if this wasn't enough there is also Sophia who comes in every two days or so to clean and change linen and to cook your scrumptious local dishes if you feel like it.

We cannot recommend it highly enough and hope one day to return.

This property sits perched on top of a hill overlooking the Aegean and surrounding Islands below. The views are spectacular and breathtaking and days pass watching the light change, feathery clouds move across the enormous sky, and ferries and fishing boats travelling across the sea below. The house sits in the middle of fruit orchards, olive groves and vineyards which surround the generous terrace and swimming pool. The house is wonderfully comfortable and the modernist interiors are filled with beautiful artefacts, ancient and modern, each room enjoying large windows which frame the views below. A large hamper awaited our arrival with olive oil, jams, wine, freshly baked bread, copious amounts of fruit. The following day the lovely Sophia came to meet us, and she looked after us well, coming frequently to clean and change the linen and occasionally to cook wonderful traditional meals for us too. When we could tear ourselves away from the house we drove down the hill to Perdika,a sleepy fishing village with a plethora of tavernas along the seafront. This house is truly a taste of paradise and since our return, not a day has passed without longingly and wistfully thinking of this wonderful villa on top of the hill waiting for us to return next year!
