We had a wonderful week at villa Artemis it was above and beyond our expectations the property was so beautiful in every way and so peaceful just magical Sophia and spiros were so lovely and kind and responsive if we needed any advise the extra comforts provided in the villa by them like the cake the fresh fruit and many more touches which were so welcome and appreciated . We would most definitely return to Villa Artemis without hesitation . To sum up simply one of our best ever holiday villas thank you kindly for your help and advice.

Thank you for having such a lovely villa in your portfolio.  We loved this area of the Peloponnese - so unspoilt and quiet.  The villa is lovely and very well equipped both technically and the kitchen was very well stocked with equipment and even some useful basic food and condiments very impressive.

 We had a lovely stay at a Villa Artemis.  Sophia and Spiros were very welcoming and the villa was spotlessly clean and very well cared for.  We loved the pool and beautiful garden and the kitchen was very well equipped. We also enjoyed the welcome gifts of fruit and delicious cake.

 We loved our week at Artemis Villa in the Peloponnese. The owners were charming and made up the most delicious apple cake and were extremelyhelpful about places to go and visit. The villa was amazing and the views out over the sea were sensational. We really appreciated the fact that there were adequate supplies of basics already provided (and more) and themid-week clean was great. We'd definitely go back there. The only thing that was slightly disappointing was that the local taverna had already closed up for the season even at the weekend but it was more than made up for by the other places we went to at Ermioni, Porto Cheli etc. 
Note from PGV: We are hoping that for the 2022 season the taverna will remain open from mid Sept to end of Oct at least for weekends.

 Dream Villas in the Peloponnese

Rented the villas Artemis and Apollon in July 2021 with 2 families through Pretty Greek Villas. In advance we received extensive information about our destination, including directions and all things worth knowing about the area. After the warm welcome and tour by owner Spiros and his wife Sophia, our (high) expectations turned out to be fully realized. Two dream villas, perfectly furnished on every point you can think of, with a lovely terrace, outdoor kitchen, garden, swimming pool and a view you can't get enough of. The refrigerator turned out to be filled with various bottles of water, beer and a bottle of wine. The fruit bowl was richly filled with delicious fruit, there was fresh bread and a nice bottle of olive oil from the region.

The quiet location of the villas ensured that we woke up every morning to the sound of the crickets. In the town of Didima, a 15-minute drive by car, we bought freshly baked bread at bakery Kostas every day. And in Kranadi, a 25-minute drive away, we found several larger supermarkets. The cozy and fashionable Porto Heli is about 35 minutes from the villas.

Several pebble beaches can be found in the immediate vicinity of the villas. In our opinion, the nicest beach was at the local Taverna Costa Bianca, where you can also eat well for a reasonable price.

We had an unforgettable week in both villas and we heartily recommend both the PGV travel organization and both villas. PGV and owner Spiros responded very quickly when we needed a doctor in the evening on one of the days. Spiros drove one of our children himself to the (24-hour) medical center in Kranidi where the doctor on duty ensured adequate treatment. When saying goodbye, Spiros and Sophia surprised us with a nice memory of the Villas.

Droom Villas in de Peloponnesos

Met 2 gezinnen in juli 2021 de villas Artemis en Apollon gehuurd via Pretty Greek Villas. Vooraf ontvingen we uitgebreide informatie over onze bestemming inclusief routebeschrijving en alle wetenswaardigheden over de omgeving. Na de hartelijke ontvangst en rondleiding door eigenaar Spiros en zijn vrouw Sophia bleken onze (hoge) verwachtingen volledig bewaarheid geworden. Twee droomvilla’s, op werkelijk alle punten die je kan bedenken perfect ingericht, met een heerlijke terras, buitenkeuken, tuin, zwembad en een uitzicht waar je geen genoeg van kunt krijgen. De ijskast bleek gevuld te zijn met o.a. diverse flessen water, bier en een fles wijn. De fruitschaal was rijkelijk gevuld met heerlijk fruit, er was vers brood en een mooie fles met olijfolie uit de streek.

De rustige ligging van de villas zorgde er voor dat we elke ochtend wakker werden met het geluid van de krekels. In het, op een klein kwartier rijden met de auto, plaatsje Didima kochten we bij bakker Kostas dagelijks vers gebakken brood. En in Kranadi, op ruim 25 minuten rijden, vonden we diverse grotere supermarkten. Het gezellige en mondaine Porto Cheli ligt op ongeveer 35 minuten van de villa’s.

In de directe omgeving van de villa’s zijn diverse kiezelstranden te vinden. Het leukste strandje lag wat ons betreft bij de lokale Taverna Costa Bianca, waar je ook prima kan eten voor een redelijke prijs.

We hebben met elkaar een onvergetelijke week gehad in de beide villa’s en bevelen zowel de reisorganisatie PGV als beide villas’s van harte aan. PGV en eigenaar Spiros reageerden heel snel toen we op één van de dagen s’avonds een dokter nodige hadden. Spiros reed één van onze kinderen zelf naar het (24 -uurs) medisch centrum in Kranidi waar de dienstdoende arts zorgde voor een adequate behandeling. Bij het afscheid verraste Spiros en Sophia ons nog met een leuke herinnering aan de Villas.

 For those who may be considering to rent Villa Artemis, we have to say that it would be a mistake not too.

We rented Villa Artemis at the last moment this past August for a two week stay during the first half of August. With the issues we all had due to the pandemic, we thought that this summer would be a dull and uneventful memory for our family. However, by chance we came across this Villa and it so happened that our luck was shining, as we were able to book the Villa for two weeks at the very moment that a cancellation came in from a family that chose to stay home due to the pandemic. 

The Villa is perfectly situated near the beach, but high enough on a Mountain hill to have the most superb sea view in front of Livanos Island and with a salt water infinity pool that magically transforms you to an oasis. If our review sounds like an add, it is because we can't say enough good things about the Villa itself. The drive up the hill is not on the smoothest of roads, but the Villa, pool, and view are priceless. The Villa is also 15 minutes from Porto Heli and Ermioni, where you have many restaurants, cafe, bars, etc to enjoy.  

We stayed at the Villa with our 4 1/2 year old twins, nanny, and family member. There were three adults and 2 children. There was more than enough room for all of us to be quite comfortable. The children and nanny occupied the lower level, which gave the children their own space and us some quiet time.  The bedrooms off the 2nd floor each had a stunning view of the sea. A most rejuvenating start to the day. 

There are two bedrooms on the 2nd floor, which allowed us to host close friends for some days. The setting was so stunning and relaxing that we wanted to share it with close friends. 

The beaches are beautiful and at most 5 minutes from the Villa by car. It was perfect in our view, as they were not at all crowded and it allowed us to swim freely as if we had our own private corner of the nirvana. 

You will not hear a single complaint from our family and for a good reason; the Owners Spiros & Sophia. They are genuine, kind, caring and look to make your stay unforgeable.  This is a first for us, where we urged the owners to join us for a nice afternoon lunch at their own Villa. But, good people are hard to come by, and for us, it was an extra and welcome good fortune to meet their acquaintance and forge a friendship.

The Villa also has available a small but quaint boat to be used by guests either steward alone or by the hire of Angelos. My husband at first chose to take the boat out on his own, but on meeting Angelos, quickly chose to allow Angelos to take charge of the 7 meter boat. Our children had a blast on the sightseeing and from the diving and swimming off the boat.  Something we did not expect in light of their young age.

To sum it up, nothing but rave reviews !

 We had a wonderful time - and cannot think of a single thing that PGVor the hosts could do to improve our stay (other than opening the nearby taverna!). I have to say that I loved Artemis. The house and views were
superb and the pool was wonderful.
The villa was very well placed for trips to Epidavros and
archaeological sites, Francthi caves which we enjoyed. The highlight though was Ancient and Acro Corinth on our return journey from Lefkada.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Greece and it was a great pleasure to meet Sofia and Spiros with their son. They welcomed us with gifts and very kindly allowed us to stay a bit longer on the Saturday to fit in with our late flights from Athens. We thought that the villa was particularly well appointed and equipped for all ages of our party. The pool is particularly well designed for toddlers at one end and divers at the other and then there are those stunning views!!!

We had an absolutely wonderful holiday at Villa Artemis ????

Sophia and Spiros did everything to make sure we had a great time.
Spiros came immediately to sort out the air con, and was on hand (in a discreet way) at any time we needed something. Sophia baked us a cake ???? when we arrived, which we much appreciated after the long, but beautiful journey from Kalamata !

This villa is very well constructed and equipped so that the guest
does not lack for anything and makes for an extremely comfortable & relaxing stay.

The weather for the two weeks was very hot, in our second week we hit
temperatures of 45 (in the sun ) , which I think is a little unusual for this time of the year in this region, but it made us rest a lot and we could cool off in the pool and in the villa???? + ????

Despite the heat .we did go sightseeing, and managed Ancient Corinth
and the Canal, Ancient Epidavros, Nafplio, Porto Cheli, Ermioni and Hydra !!!

We feel that there is still a lot to see in this area and would
consider a return to this villa as it is an extremely relaxing villa with magnificent views and we still have other islands and ancient monuments to visit

We are always looking for a villa rental with a great views & most
importantly, a peaceful environment and excellent quality internal specification, and this villa had it all ????

Our stay was truly enjoyable. Loved the area - absolutely stunning, unspoilt and a short drive to a number of towns. Although it was warm and sunny it's a shame we couldn't take full advantage of swimming in the sea but I suppose we will have to go back when it's warmer! With respect to the property - it seems like the best one in that little area and has a great view which enjoys the sun the entire day (thanks for pointing that out) It had everything we needed and the managers went out of their way to fix the fuse for the water heater as soon as we flagged it on an easter weekend.
I would mention that the property is at the highest point in the road leading up the hill which means its easy to start a hike in the mountains right from the driveway.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place. I'm depressed to be back in rainy London!

everything we needed and was very relaxing. Thank you for organising the
hire car which made everything so easy. I would highly recommend
taking the Seacat from Pireaus to Porto Cheli, it took out all the
stress of driving.

We loved it so much that we would like to book Artemis again for

Also, a lovely lady from the car hire company came this morning, so we have the hire car and have discussed the transfer etc. So all in all, pretty seamless and now just relaxing by the pool. We had a lovely week at Villa Artemis. The view was stunning and was amazing to look at at any time of day - we will miss it! We were very impressed with the villa too. It has all been very carefully planned and well presented plus the facilities are great. It was lovely to have some groceries provided on our arrival and very much appreciated. It made our first couple of days staying at the villa much easier. We enjoyed all the aspects of outdoor living - having the outside table and chairs etc. as we spent most of our time out there. The pool was amazing too. We all loved it being an infinity pool and our three children had a great time in it. We will always remember it as our youngest son learnt to swim in the pool while we were there! The only thing we would mention is that it might be worth letting people know roughly how long it takes from the meeting point with the owner to get to the villa and also that the road is very steep and rough - we found it a bit tricky on the first try! But that was a very minor complaint. The owner, Sophia, even though she didn't speak much English, was extremely helpful and got any problems solved quickly. Overall we were very pleased with the villa and would highly recommend it. I've already had a look at your website at possible villas for us to try in the future!
