The Beach House is situated in a fabulous position with direct access to the long, pine-fringed, sandy beach of Makris Yialos with its crystal clear limpid water. One of four houses The Beach House is surrounded by large lawns and gardens with an extensive Mediterranean pine forest behind. The Beach House is very spacious, modern in style and is situated on two levels. On the ground floor, there is a very large open plan living room with dining area for six. The sea-facing wall is made entirely of glass which can open right back onto a wonderful dining terrace suitable for 8 - 10 guests.
From the central room, an archway leads through to a very well equipped kitchen with full oven and hob and dishwasher. From the kitchen, there is access onto the pretty veranda. Towards the rear of the main living room is a hallway leading to a large double bedroom and large twin bedroom which share a bathroom with shower. On this level, there is also a small single bedroom (maid's room so basic in style) with en-suite shower room and a door leading to an outside terrace.
Upstairs is a guest suite with double bedroom and a very large triple bedroom. Shared by these two bedrooms is a very large, newly renovated bathroom. On this level there is also a small kitchenette and a big terrace overlooking the sea.
The villa is well-equipped and comfortably furnished with air-conditioning, WIFI, TV and DVD.
From the garden, steps lead down to a sandy beach making it an ideal spot for families or friends looking for an easy beach holiday in an unspoilt location. Tavernas and shops are about a 10 minute walk away.
The Beach House sleeps 8 guests and is situated above an exceptional sandy beach on the Greek island of Kefallonia. The property is very spacious and ideal for families with young children wanting to holiday on this very lovely island.

We enjoyed staying at the Olive Press very much, its a very beautiful and peaceful place. The views over to Ithaca and the surrounding forest are stunning. It as nice to be so near a beach and great waymarked trails. The house was very luxurious and comfortable. Thank you for organising our visit.

We really loved our stay at the Beach house, the owners met us on our arrival and were so incredibly kind and helpful, telling us about lots of wonderful places to go and visit. They also left us with a basket full of goodies to eat and drink. The villa was beautiful and spotlessly clean and the views were breathtaking. We loved the villa and Kefalonia and we especially loved the Greek people (and the amazing food!)
