Villa Candice is located on a gentle hillside overlooking the village and harbour of Assos. It is less than 100 metres from the sea and benefits from superb views over the picturesque bay and the imposing ramparts of a 16th century Venetian castle.
Villa Candice is a three bedroom villa arranged over three levels. The main entrance is on the first floor and leads into an impressive kitchen/dining area with a magnificent wooden beamed ceiling. The modern kitchen is fully equipped with microwave, full oven, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher and has French Windows that open out onto terrace overlooking the sea. The dining area leads into a spacious lounge with a high wooden beamed ceiling and double doors that open out onto a large terraced garden with a shaded pergola and barbecue.
Wooden stairs lead up from the dining room to the galleried master bedroom, set in the loft overlooking the lounge. The master bedroom has high wooden vaulted ceilings and an en- suite bathroom with shower and WC.
From the kitchen, wooden stairs lead down to the ground floor where there are two further bedrooms: a twin bedroom and a double bedroom which share a family bathroom with shower and WC. Both ground floor bedrooms have double doors that open out onto the pool terrace.
Villa Candice has a beautiful outdoor dining area with barbecue set under a shady pergola as well as a large sun bathing terrace with an unusual shaped infinity swimming pool with stunning views over the bay below.
The property is very well equipped with air-conditioning throughout, SAT TV, DVD, CD and i-pod docking station.
Through the terraced garden, steep steps lead down to the seafront where there is a small swimming platform built into the surrounding rock. From here, guests can swim to a wonderful, secluded beach accessible usually only by boat.
Villa Candice is situated within walking distance to the delightful village of Assos (approx 300m). Throughout the village, there is a strong Venetian influence with colourfully painted houses and a horse-shoe shaped harbour with brightly painted fishing boats tied up at the quay. The harbour is illuminated in the evening creating a magical ambiance and is a perfect setting to enjoy a romantic meal at one of the waterside tavernas or cafes while watching the sun set.

We had a wonderful stay in Kefalonia and the villa was absolutely lovely. Such a great setting, a lovely pool, amazing view and perfect villa for what we needed.
We will definitely book with you again if we come back to Greece - and we very much hope we will!
