Luxury villa with private heated pool, close to Fiskardo and the beach of Emblissi

The villa is on three levels. On the middle level there is a beautiful and spacious open plan room with wooden beamed vaulted ceiling and natural stonework. Here there is a living area with fireplace, dining area and a fully equipped kitchen. Large French doors lead to the pool area. On this level there are also two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. One has a double bed and the other has twin beds. Both bedrooms have access to a spacious terrace with lovely views to the sea and have direct access to the swimming pool.
A marble staircase leads to the top floor of the villa where the master bedroom is situated. This is a large bedroom with king-size bed, dressing area and en-suite bathroom with bath, separate shower and WC. French doors open up to a shaded terrace with stunning views to the sea and right out over the Ionian Archipelago. At the lower level there is a guest house with a separate entrance. Although it is simpler in style than the rest of the house, it offers full accommodation for a family of four having a living room, a fully fitted kitchenette with hob and refrigerator as well as two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with twin beds and one bathroom.
The villa offers wi-fi, satellite TV, music system and DVD player. All 5 bedrooms of the villa have air-conditioning. There is a live-in housekeeper who cleans daily.
Outside the 8 meter long infinity pool (heated upon application) sits amongst sun terraces at the front of the living area of the middle level of the villa. It has corner steps into the shallow end for children. The terrace is well furnished for relaxing and dining outdoors, but please note due to the forest-fire restrictions the barbecue is rarely useable since the property is surrounded by forest.
From this villa, guests can explore the beautiful Mediterranean countryside surrounding the villa where you can walk or cycle. There are several walking routes such as The Lighthouse Walk, an easy walk through the pine trees with lovely views of the Ithaca channel and an opportunity to swim from the rocks en-route, or the walk to Emblisi beach via the Lighthouse and the grounds of the Emelisse Hotel. There is now an extensive network of footpaths in the area which have been cleared, signposted and mapped. The picturesque fishing town of Fiskardo with its colourful houses, excellent restaurants, bars, cafes and shops is only a few minutes walk from the villa. There is also boat hire locally from Fiskardo and it is very easy to reach many stunning beaches by car or boat such as Emblessi, Alaties, Agios Jerousalim and Foki Bay.
It is rare to find a villa that is within walking distance of Fiskardo itself for those who are used to hiking/walking (it is fairly steep on the way back up to the villa). Most clients in the summer would need to hire a car. This villa is perfect for families and friends alike to have all the comforts of a high standard villa including privacy and tranquillity whilst being so close to amenities.
Please note that although this villa has 5 bedrooms, the villa owner strictly limits occupancy to 8 guests. Heating of the pool is extra - please enquire.

We had a magical holiday thank you. Kefalonia is stunning! The villa with its beautiful pool exceeded our expectations although sadly we ended up not being there that much as we were out exploring.

The holiday was a huge success!
The villa is fantastic. Louise at the villa did a fantastic job in ensuring the villa always looked its best. Check in and check out was excellent. The transfers all worked smoothly. The Avithos Resort meant that the last day was not wasted!
We will be in touch next time we are a planning a trip to Greece!

We were thrilled with the villa, which was exactly as advertised with the views and décor/standard of accommodation exceeding all expectations. The location was also excellent - close enough to walk into Fiskardo and to several of the hotels and local restaurants as well as the beaches, even though these were up and down quite steep hills.
The facilities at the house were also great - although you did advertise the villa as having a BBQ and we were expecting to be able to use this so you should change that on the website page I think. The kitchen was particularly well stocked, with plenty of plates, and glasses etc.
