Villa Dianaki exudes happiness and charm, and a sense of real Greece. This traditional style house with its stone walls clad in a profusion of bougainvillea sits in a lovely spot on a verdant hillside with superb views over the Ionian Sea.

On the ground floor is a large open plan living and dining area with well-equipped kitchen which includes washing machine and dishwasher. Terracotta tiled floors, splashes of colour and unique pieces of art give an artistic and homely feel to the property. French windows lead to a covered verandah that runs the length of the house with outdoor seating area. 

The master bedroom is also on the ground floor. It has an ensuite bathroom with walk-in modern shower and bathtub. From the large windows, guests can enjoy the delightful views over the garden, pool and sea. 

Three bedrooms are on the lower floor and each with direct access to the terraces, garden and pool. Each bedroom has two single beds/twin beds. One bedroom has its own ensuite bathroom with modern walk-in shower. The other two bedrooms share a bathroom also with walk-in shower. 

The villa has air-conditioning in the bedrooms, WIFI and music system as well as a large collection of books.

Outside there are various spacious terraces for guests to enjoy. There are two outdoor dining areas - one large outdoor table with built-in barbecue is set out under a vine; the other dining area is shaded by age-old mulberry trees. There are also plenty of terraces in full sun, and a large infinity pool (16m in length) with 8 sun-loungers and a large umbrella. From the terraces there are superb views over the Ionian Sea to the mountains of the Peloponnese beyond.

Villa Dianaki is located on the northern coast of Zakynthos is an area of outstanding natural beauty. The little port of Aghios Nikolaos is a short drive away (2.5km) where there are some bars, cafes, tavernas and a supermarket as well as the nearest beach. There is also a twice daily ferry to Kefalonia and back and the famous shipwreck beach and blue caves are close by. Boat hire, Kayaks and water skiing can all be arranged.

We really enjoyed staying at your Villa we have stayed in more modern luxury Villas on Zakynthos before and so we enjoyed the more traditional rustic charm of your Villa. The Villa was very well equipped and full of character, we made the most of the different dining spaces. The setting was beautiful overlooking the sea with Cephalonia across the straight. We'd be happy to recommend it
