Villa Emilion is a boutique style property which has been well designed to maximise on the surrounding space. It comprises a main house and two separate guest houses set within a dazzingly colourful courtyard garden which is very private. A gated entrance and a flight of stone steps lead you down into the property.
In the main house there is an elegant, small living room decorated in pale shades of cream and blue giving a very welcoming and homely feel to the house. There are comfortable furnishings throughout and beautiful views from all aspects. French windows lead to a spacious veranda covered in tumbling purple bougainvillea and cloudy-blue plumbago which is a wonderful place to dine al fresco whilst taking in the stunning view of Spetses opposite. The living area also has a small indoor dining area. Next to this is the kitchen which is fully equipped with oven, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, espresso machine and toaster. There is also a guest WC on this middle level.
Upstairs, there are two bedrooms which share a separate bathroom with shower: The first is a double bedroom with its own balcony covered in bougainvillea and with lovely sea views. The second has two single beds and windows looking out over the sea. Both bedrooms have air-conditioning and ceiling fans.
In the lower level, there is a very small but useful living area as you come down the stairs, one double bedroom with ceiling fan and doors leading to the garden area, and a separate bathroom with shower. For guests who need a little more space (or for a couple with a small child), there is a 6th very small single bedroom with a tiny window that can be used too. On this level is the utility room with washing machine. The property has WIFI.
Opposite the swimming pool are two delightful guest houses each with their own entrance from the pool terrace. There is one double bedroom decorated in lemon yellow with en-suite bathroom with shower sculpted in a beautiful coloured sea-green cement; the other double bedroom features a very smart en-suite bathroom sculpted in damask red and grey cement.
The garden surrouding the property is a true delight. It is laid out with classic Italian terracotta tiles amid a veritable profusion of flowers with plenty of space outside for sunbathing around the L-shaped pool. A large covered pergola near the pool offers a very comfortable and spacious outdoor living area, as well as dining area for up to 12 guests, outdoor bar and barbecue. Private gated parking for 2 cars is also provided.
