Easy island living – lovely house and pool in quiet surroundings yet just a short walk to beaches, tavernas and shops

The relaxed charm of Villa Grazia is evident from the moment you step inside the property. Mediterranean colours, comfortable furnishings, lovely rugs and ethnic decorative pieces, well designed rooms and a very nice garden and pool area are reminders of gentler and simpler times.
The central level is an open plan space with a very well-equipped family kitchen, dining area and living area with views overlooking the sea. The combination of colonial style furnishings with contemporary looking sofas blend well to create a modern, relaxed island feel enhanced by the lovely views over the sea. French windows lead onto a large arched verandah with outdoor seating and dining area with steps leading to the garden and pool terrace.
On the upper level are two bedrooms: The master bedroom suite has its own private verandah with built-in seating upholstered with beautiful outdoor cushions. It’s a wonderful place for a couple to relax and enjoy the views over the sea and of Dapia, the main town of the island. This bedroom also has its own ensuite bathroom with shower and an office area. Next to the master bedroom is a simple but comfortable bedroom with twin beds that would be more suitable for children and a separate bathroom with shower.
The lowest level is on the same level as the garden, and is a light and airy space with three bedrooms and two bathrooms both with showers. There is one double bedroom and two bedrooms with twin beds which could also be converted to double beds. The bedrooms are simply decorated, peaceful and cool with comfortable beds and mattresses.
There is air-conditioning throughout the villa, WIFI internet, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and barbecue.
The garden and pool have been well-designed to create a very private and pretty space. The built-in stone seating above the pool with its elegant and comfortable blue upholstered cushions fits so well with the graceful shape of the pool and the stone work of the surrounding walls. There is also a small lawn and various places to sit and relax shaded by an umbrella.
The property is ideally situated for guests who want to walk easily to the beach, shops and tavernas but want to find a villa in quiet surroundings. Kounoupitsa jetty is only a few minutes walk away where there is a beach and some delightful tavernas where you can dine right on the sand with the waves lapping at your feet as you eat. Kaiki beach with its sunbeds, umbrellas, watersports and lively beach bar surrounded by pristine nature and with crystal clear waters is about a 10 min walk away. In the other direction, the heart of Spetses Town (Dapia) is also easily reached in about 10 mins by foot. Since this property is accessed without any hills, it makes bicycle hire possible too.
For a relaxed holiday home with such easy access to all that the chic island of Spetses offers, this villa is a great choice for families and friends.
