Imagine a perfect ‘love-nest’ with the sun setting behind the romantic scene of a medieval castle and the gentle sound of the Ionian Sea on the rocks below. This is ‘Honeymoon’ a perfect escape for couples and newly-weds in one of the most sought after locations in Greece.
This designer-style villa consists of an open plan kitchen and living area on the ground floor with LED TV, DVD and i-pod docking station. Glass doors separate the space from a highly stylish bathroom with shower and WC. A wide staircase leads up to the romantic loft where there is a double bedroom and ensuite bathroom also with shower and WC.
Guests can enjoy the tranquillity and utter beauty of the outside terrace as the sun sinks to the west colouring the sky behind Assos Castle with its golden rays. The view out over the azure blue of the Ionian Sea is mesmerising and from the private pool, the soporific sound of the sea below calms and relaxes. Steep steps lead down to the sea and to a swimming platform. From here, guests can swim to a wonderful, secluded beach accessible usually only by boat.
Villa Honeymoon is situated within walking distance to the delightful village of Assos (approx 300m). Throughout the village, there is a strong Venetian influence with colourfully painted houses and a horse-shoe shaped harbour with brightly painted fishing boats tied up at the quay. The harbour is illuminated in the evening creating a magical ambiance and is a perfect setting to enjoy a romantic meal at one of the waterside tavernas or cafes while watching the sun set.

Staying at the Honeymoon Villa in Assos felt like stepping into a postcard, or better yet, a dream. From the moment we walked in, we were blown away by how stunning and serene the space was. It was exactly what we had hoped for: a peaceful, romantic escape in a charming little village, just for the two of us.
The villa was beautifully designed and perfectly tucked away, offering privacy while still being just a short walk from the heart of the village. We loved exploring the few local restaurants, picking up fresh treats from the markets and bakery, and browsing the small shops that give Assos its character.
Most days, we simply relaxed and let time slow down. The setting invited us to be still, savor the moment, and reconnect. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay special; they were so kind, helpful, and genuinely welcoming.
One of the most memorable moments was our walk up to the Venetian castle. The views from the top were absolutely breathtaking, and we could even see our villa down below, nestled perfectly into the landscape. It was surreal to look down on the place where we were making such special memories.
Every part of our stay was perfect. We left feeling refreshed and connected.
