Private pool, sunsets, pretty village and historical house make up a magical combination for a very special holiday
Villa Horatio is an historical house situated in the pretty town of Oia. It’s in a quiet position away from the crowds but yet within easy walking distance of everything that Oia has to offer.
The villa is very tastefully decorated throughout with time-less antiques and comfortable furnishings. The living room has two single sofa beds and dining area, and there is a separate fully-equipped kitchen. The villa has two bedrooms. The master bedroom has a double bed. The 2nd bedroom can sleep four guests since it has a double bed with a traditional platform style double bed above. There is one bathroom serving both bedrooms with sea-facing shower.
The villa is well equipped with SAT TV, DVD, CD, WIFI and air-conditioning. There is also a daily maid service.
Outside, there is a very tranquil walled garden with small private pool overlooking the spectacular views of the Caldera. Oia is famous for its sunsets, and from your own villa you can sit back and enjoy the evening’s display.
Although the villa is in a very quiet and private position, it is only steps away to the heart of Oia town with its sugar-cube houses painted in pretty colours cascading down the hillside. Oia has great restaurants, bars, cafes and shops and you can spend hours enjoying exploring the labyrinth of little walkways and pathways that make up the town. The Caldara pathway leads down to the sea though there are many steps on the way back up – otherwise the sea is a few mins away by car.
Villa Horatio is ideal for a family or a honeymoon couple wanting to experience a genuine historical house by the sea on one of Greece’s most sought-after islands.
