This property offers so many different areas for relaxing or dining, that it is the perfect solution for an extended family or group of friends who want to have fun together in comfortable and atmospheric surroundings.
Villa Horizon is an exceptionally fine property in a sheltered position situated in private surroundings located just a few mins drive from Aghios Stephanos beach. From its position, the property commands fabulous sunset views over the island of Delos with Tinos in the distance, and exceptional views also over Mykonos Town itself.
The property comprises a main house sleeping 4 guests in three bedrooms, and two guest houses sleeping 4 guests in two bedrooms.
The main house is on two levels. Downstairs is a very large open plan living area comfortably furnished with L-shaped sofa and large daybed situated around a contemporary fire-place with large TV and music system. There is also an elegant dining area for 8 and a smart contemporary style kitchen which is very well equipped including wine fridge and American size fridge/freezer. Doors from this space lead out onto the terraces surrounding the property and from all aspects, there are wonderful sea views.
Upstairs, there is a master bedroom with en-suite bathroom. From this bedroom’s exceptionally large window there are stunning views over the sea below and a large veranda where guests can enjoy the serenity of the setting. There are also two further bedrooms each with large single bed with separate bathroom.
To the side of the main house, a private entrance leads to the first guest house. This is a peaceful room decorated in aquamarine with double bed and en-suite bathroom as well as TV.
To the far side of the property above the swimming pool is the second guest house painted in a rich cream with traditional style painted bamboo ceiling. This bedroom has an in-built double bed and TV, and features a beautiful bath made of softly sculpted cement in the same rich cream. This bedroom has wonderful views over the pool and sea.
The focal point of this property is its impressive infinity swimming pool which at night takes on a magical atmosphere as the ambient lighting changes from vermillion red to cobalt blue to the most iridescent shades of lilac to a deep pea green. It is the most relaxing of spaces at all times of the day with plenty of sun loungers around the pool. Just above the pool is a large teaked deck area covered by a pergola with pool-side bar in marble and large outdoor lounge area. This is a perfect spot for watching the sun go down over the island of Delos in the distance.
To the front of the main house is another informal living area with over-size cushions set out overlooking the sea view, and a long in-built bench covered with cushions. Outside the kitchen is a smaller outdoor dining area for 6-8 guests set under a pergola. To the side is the main outdoor dining area with large dining table for 10 guests, large in-built barbecue, pizza oven and outdoor sink. The whole property is surrounded by colourful cactus gardens and a profusion of dazzling plants cascading over the stone walls.
The villa is very comfortably equipped throughout with air-conditioning, WIFI, TVs, and music system. A daily housekeeper is provided and a cook can be arranged at an extra cost.
Villa Horizon is well located being just a few minutes’ drive from the sheltered sandy beach of Aghios Stefanos which also has various tavernas and watersports faciilties. Mykonos Town is only a few kilometres away making it easy for a night out on the town at any time.
