Paleros, a scenic town located on the west coast of mainland Greece, dated back to the 5th century is situated in a breathtaking backdrop of beautiful and serene vistas and the crystal clear waters of the Ionian Sea. Olive trees, vineyards and pine trees extend down to sandy beaches. Paleros is famous for their local honey as well as freshly produced olive oil. The locals love to fish and will catch the freshest seafood from the area. The town with many bars and tavernas are within walking distance. The most popular spot is the modern and fun Paleros Yacht club that provides all day entertainment and offers sun loungers and umbrellas to relax under whilst enjoying a drink from the large variety of cocktails. In addition, they offer delicious food chosen from an extremely modern and tasty menu.
The villa offers an excellent base to be able to explore the neighbouring islands - Lefkada, Meganissi, Kalamos, Kastos, Atokos and the famous Scorpios island.
We would highly recommend booking a boat tour of the area since the islands lying on the doorstep of Paleros are what makes the area so well worth visiting.
