The villa accommodates 10 guests in total luxury blending traditional materials with contemporary design. The simplicity of the interior entices the surrounding landscape inside, the magnificent blue of the sea that is quintessentially Greece.
The villa is located in the area of Paleros which is a short drive of about 15 mins from the island of Lefkada. This allows guests explore the sandy beaches and villages of this island, and to return easily to the peaceful sanctuary of a lesser know but equally beautiful area of the Ionian.
From all aspects of the property there are views over the village to the Ionian Sea. The living area of the property is 'open-plan'. Glass sliding doors run the length of the room and encapture the wonderful view. A single mature olive tree creates a sculptural centrepiece harmonising with the stylish contemporary furnishings whilst offering the practical benefit of shade. The dining area is spacious with a large table that comfortably seats 10. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes additional features such as a wine cooler and walk-in pantry. Beyond the lounge is a guest W.C
The master bedroom is located on the same level and has a separate W.C, shower and a large shelving area with built-in basin as well as spacious closet area. It features its own private balcony with beautiful sea views.
On the level below are three bedrooms all with their own individual entrances. The 1st bedroom has a double bed, large storage area and ensuite bathroom. The 2nd bedroom has two double beds and plenty of storage and the 3rd bedroom has a king-size bed. These two bedrooms share a bathroom.
The landscaping of the villa combines modern styling with natural materials from the past. There are pergolas made from restored old wood providing shade from the sun; the swimming pool is surrounded by decking and terraces offering ample space to sunbathe or read a book under the shade. There is a 6m x 3m heated pool which features a sunken seating and table area at one end where an aperitif can be enjoyed whilst relaxing in the water and gazing out at the view.
On the ground level is a large double garage and a fully equipped gym. The property also features a lift to take guests between the three levels of the villa.
Iris is the perfect solution for a large family or group of friends searching for a special property to create loving memories in an interesting area of Greece.

We (a family of 5 adults) stayed in Villa Iris in early September 2022 and were not disappointed - the property was as good as portrayed on the website and, potentially, even better in real life. It was clean, well equipped and with a view to die for from the terrace…….. we spent quite some time in the pool just gazing out across the bay. Access to other facilities (shops, beaches, restaurants) is good, although a car is the preferred means of reaching these. The process of collecting the keys was seamless, with the host Vicky meeting us at the Paleros Yacht Club, taking us to the villa and then showing us around and explaining its facilities. We had a couple of minor issues while there, but Vicky resolved these almost immediately and was always extremely helpful, responsive and cheerful. Our return flight home was in the evening and so we asked for a late departure which was agreed provided the villa wasn’t booked immediately after our stay - thankfully (for us) there were no guests arriving and so we were able to remain in the villa until later afternoon, which was much appreciated. Would we return? Undoubtedly!

We had a wonderful week at villa Iris, thank you. We loved the area and miss those amazing views and of course the sun! Everything worked seemlesly and despite all the Covid “extras†it was an easy trip.
