The architecture of the villa is unique. It was carefully planned and designed by the Greek architect Nikitas Hadjimichalis to intergrate perfectly with its surroundings and to offer an incredible viewpoint over the island and sea. The property used to be an ancient windmill fort overlooking the quiet Kamini fishing port and has been completely restored into a charming private property fully equipped with all modern amenities and comforts.
Villa Kaminia Windmill can accommodate 8 guests in total. It consists of the main house and a studio. In the main house there is a spacious open plan area on the top floor with a living area with fireplace, a dining area as well as a fully equipped kitchen. On the ground floor there are three bedrooms. Two of them have king size beds and one has two single beds. On this floor there is a large bathroom, as well as a second smaller bathroom with shower.
The house offers multiple terraces that give a 360° view over the village, the hills of Hydra and the sea, as well as beautiful sunset views over the island of Dhokos. There is a shaded terrace with outdoor dining area that is perfect at all times of the day or evening.
The villa has WIFI, TV and a fully equipped kitchen.
Located directly below the windmill and the main terrace, looming over the waterfront, there is a separate loft-style guest house with its own independent access. The guest house has a double bed and bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, air conditioning, music system and video screen. Every window offers a unique view to the sea and village.
The property is very well located just above Kamini village. A few steps from the Windmill will lead you to some excellent tavernas, Four Corners supermarket and a beautiful spot for swimming in crystal clear seas. Hydra Town is just 15 mins walk away or a few mins by water taxi.
