Kritios House is a rare find. The property has been recently refurbished with artistic integrity to the highest of standards. Every level benefits from impressive views unfurling over the Saronic Gulf, and yet the house is easily accessible from the pretty harbour of Kamini situated just below. 

The house comprises 6 suites, each with its own living room area and en-suite facilities. The furnishings of the property are of the best quality and each space both internally and externally is punctuated by unique sculptures and original, modern art that elevates the property to an artists' heaven.

The ground floor consists of two double suites separated by a kitchenette, perfect for preparing a simple breakfast or nightcap before sinking into one of the luxurious beds. Outside is a large terrace with seating and umbrellas for shade. The centre piece of the terrace is a large white sculpture of a chiselled sea bird.

A flight of external stone steps leads to the middle level where there are a further 3 suites (two are inter-connected). On this level, there is a large veranda with pergola shaded by a huge sail tent suspended between this and the upper level. An arched walkway provides further places to relax under the shade and an external table for four, ideal for the two interconnecting suites. The third suite has its own outdoor living area and impressive views.

A second flight of external stairs leads to the upper level which is the main ‘entertaining’ level of the house. This features an outdoor dining area for 12 guests and a large verandah running the length of the house encompassing the entire panorama from sunset to sunrise of the sweeping gulf, and the Peloponnese on the other side. 

Inside and convenient is a fully fitted kitchen, easily suitable for preparing large meals for all guests as well as an elegant living room. On this level, there is also a 6th suite with its own verandah and glorious views. 

The property is conveniently located via approx 20 steps to the restaurants of the pretty fishing harbour of Kamini. Crystal clear coves and lovely bays for swimming are a short walk away. Hydra Town with its bustling harbour and colourful atmosphere is approx a 10 min stroll away. 

The property is perfect for an extended family with older children, or a group of adult guests who assimilate high art in a luxurious setting. Without a doubt one of the most beautiful properties we’ve seen to date on Hydra and without the hassle of climbing many steps.
