Villa Lupin is a graceful Neo-Classical house dating from the 19th Century. Its spacious rooms, high ceilings and large windows give a light and restful feel throughout. The main hallway features an antique tiled floor and a beautiful antique carved wooden bench. To the right of the hallway is an airy living room with cream wood floors and windows looking out over the colourful garden. A comfortable sofa and armchairs are situated around the fireplace.
To the left of the hallway is the first double bedroom. This is a very peaceful room with double height ceilings and features a fragment of a beautiful old fresco on its walls. Further down the hallway is a children's bedroom decorated in duck-egg blue with a set of bunk beds. New air-conditioning units have been installed in both bedrooms.
From the hallway, three wooden steps lead through a metre-thick archway to the kitchen/dining area with its cool terracotta-tiled floors.
The kitchen is a farm-house style kitchen with nicely painted wooden cupboards and features a large old marble sink. It is very well equipped and includes a dishwasher, full sized oven, fridge/freezer. The long monastic-style dining table with benches and the antique tiled floor are a very nice feature and doors lead from the dining area to a quiet patio which is perfect in the early morning for coffee in the cool of the day.
From the kitchen, a passageway leads down to the main bathroom with shower and WC.
The third bedroom is accessed via a stairway from the kitchen area. This bedroom has a double bed and doors leading out to a veranda with views over Spetses and out over the Aegean Sea. This bedroom also has its own bathroom with shower and WC, and air-conditioning.
The guest house is part of the main house building but has its own independent access from the garden. The guest house has recently been renovated and the bed configuration changed - it now has 3 single beds with its own bathroom with shower and WC. The guest house also has a new air-conditioning unit.
The property features WIFI and TV, and is well set up for families with babies since 2 cots can be provided. There is air-conditioning in all bedrooms and a large movable fan on the veranda under the pergola. There is also a second fridge/freezer outdoors at the back of the house.
The surrounding gardens are delightful. Tall, colourful lupins sway in the breeze and punctuate the abundant flowers and herbs in the wide herbaceous borders and the pebble-mosaic pathways create an elegant formality to the design.
Nestled into the garden is a large swimming pool surrounded by a spacious terrace with deck chairs and for summer 2022 new sun loungers. The veranda next to the house has an area perfect for alfresco dining under the shade of a mature tree where in-built stone sofas with cushions offer a perfect space to relax during the hottest hours of the day.
Villa Lupin is located in a peaceful and private position just above the main town of Dapia. This is a very central spot - equal distance to both Aghias Mammas beach and Kounoupitsa beach. The shops, tavernas and cafes at Dapia are also within easy reach either by foot or by bicycle.
This is a property that would suit families looking for a quiet place to relax who would enjoy the simplicity of an authentically renovated Spetsiot house with beaches, shops and tavernas easily reached without the need for motorised transport.

We absolutely loved Lupin Villa and Spetses itself. Lisa showed us around the villa when we arrived + was very helpful indeed leaving us her mobile number + helping us when we needed more pool towels + refill for gas for kitchen oven. We all really enjoyed our Greek vacation. Children were excited about cats and we also had a chance to borrow a scooter, so we took them for a little ride. We had also had a bike trip to the south of the island. Honestly I really love Greek culture and for sure we I'll be back. He even rang us when we were leaving and very kindly booked a taxi for our luggage, which was very helpful.
