Villa Maistrali is an ideal villa for families or groups of friends looking for a luxurious style villa in a superb setting close to beach and in a traditional, picture-postcard perfect setting.
Villa Maistrali is located on a gentle hillside overlooking the village and harbour of Assos. It is less than 100 metres from the sea and benefits from superb views over the picturesque bay and the imposing ramparts of a 16th century Venetian castle. It is also pnpy a short walk from all the tavenas, cafes, shops and bars in Assos.
This three bedroom property has been tastefully furnished with a mixture of modern and traditional furniture. The front entrance opens onto a modern, fully equipped kitchen. Next to the kitchen is a family bathroom with WC and shower.
A half set of steps lead down from the kitchen into the open plan living area consisting of a spacious lounge and dining room with arched double doors leading onto a large terrace with outside dining area and barbecue with stunning views over Assos Bay and access to the pool terrace below.
The bedrooms are located on the upper levels of the property. On the first floor is a double bedroom with its own private balcony overlooking the sea. On the second floor is a twin bedroom with a separate family bathroom that all the bedrooms share. The third bedroom is located in the attic and is a larger double bedroom with wooden vaulted ceilings and windows that overlook the castle and sea.
The property is very well equipped with air-conditioning throughout, SAT TV, DVD, CD and i-pod docking station.
Villa Maistrali has a beautiful outdoor dining area with barbecue and stunning views over the bay as well as a swimming pool terrace with loungers and umbrellas. This is the perfect place to relax in sunshine or shade watching the slow drift of the yachts plying the bay below. From the garden, steep steps lead 100 metres down to the seafront where there is a small swimming platform built into the surrounding rock. From here, guests can swim to a wonderful, secluded beach accessible usually only by boat.
Villa Maistrali is situated within walking distance to the delightful village of Assos (approx 300m). Throughout the village, there is a strong Venetian influence with colourfully painted houses and a horse-shoe shaped harbour with brightly painted fishing boats tied up at the quay. The harbour is illuminated in the evening creating a magical ambiance and is a perfect setting to enjoy a romantic meal at one of the waterside tavernas or cafes while watching the sun set.

It was just wonderful, we had Assos to ourselves, literally 4 other tourists.... and my children fell in love with the most friendly cat imaginable. The owners have created the most wonderful get away!....

We had the most fabulous week staying at Villa Maistrali in Assos - thank you all! The villa was perfectly presented, clean, beautiful setting, great pool and outside space that catered for the sun bathers and shade seekers alike. Made full use of our BBQ as well as the lovely restaurants/tavernas less than a ten minute walk from the villa. Adrianna visited each day to tidy through our villa with little if any interruption to our comings and goings. For future visitors the two supermarkets in the village will provide all that you need without having to leave Assos - food, wine/beer etc. Take time to visit the castle the views are lovely and the path not as steep as you might think. Swim in the sea everyday - it's good for your body and soul!! If you should visit Myrtos Beach just be aware there is no shade and no refreshments - grab a brolly - pack lunch and enjoy! A perfect week away with our family - we would highly recommend.

We have now been back a week and we thoroughly miss Kefalonia and the beautiful villa Maistrali! We couldnt of wished for a better villa or location, the views from villa Maistrali were fantastic. The whole villa inside and out was perfect and we will be back. Having Rory Bond delivering our shopping was brilliant and having maid service everyday was unexpected but very much appreciated Adriana our house keeper was perfect and so hard working. The car hire and taxi were also well organised. Thank you so much for all your help and for always getting back to us so quickly. We will definitely be booking through you again when we come back to Greece.

We had the most wonderful stay at Villa Maistrali. I cannot speak highly enough of the Villa, the views and the little town of Assos - the perfect family holiday. The Villa was exactly as described on your website or maybe even better! We enjoyed the fact that everything was provided at the Villa, it was extremely clean and the facilities were well maintained. Maid service everyday is great and not too intrusive. The road to the Villa from the airport takes about an hour - the diversion is no longer in place which makes it easier to navigate.We have appreciated how easy it was to book through your company and will definitely be returning to Greece in the future.
