Villa Polymnia is a luxury three bedroom villa in a small collection of villas situated in a beautiful position above Pefkouli bay on the western side of Lefkada.
The main entrance is on the upper level: There is a very large open plan living room which is elegant and comfortably furnished with spacious dining area and very well-equipped kitchen with full cooking facilities including a dishwasher. French windows lead from the living area onto a spacious veranda with dining area overlooking the pool and bay below. On this level there is also a well-appointed bathroom with WC and shower.
On the lower level, there are three bedrooms: The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with bath and shower. Two further guest bedrooms have beds that can be made up either as doubles or two singles. These two bedrooms share a bathroom with bath and shower. All bedrooms have French Windows leading out onto the peaceful pool terrace surrounded by pine trees. The horizon swimming pool (9m x 6m) has plenty of areas for sunbathing as well as areas for reading or relaxing in the shade.
The villa is beautifully furnished throughout with all modern conveniences including dishwasher, WIFI, SAT TV with LCD TV, and barbecue. There is a large air-conditioning unit in the main living area and all bedrooms have remote controlled ceiling fans.
A very short drive down the hill from Villa Polymnia is the traditional village of Agios Nikitas where cars are prohibited from its narrow, winding streets. There you will find a selection of shops, bars and tavernas. The village is an ideal place to sit and relax and enjoy excellent, local cuisine and some low-key nightlife. From the sandy beach of Agios Nikitas, there is a regular water taxi that takes guests to the white sand beaches of Kathisma and Pefkoulia which have to be amongst Lefkada's most stunning.
Although Villa Polymnia is a private villa, it can be rented in conjuction with the two Villa Aphrodites, Villa Antigone or the three Villa Narkissias found within the same collection.

We had a fantastic holiday, thanks, and really enjoyed our time on
Lefkada.
The villa was great, and the couple looking after it kept everything
really clean and tidy. It was a good location and we enjoyed being able to walk down to the village in the evenings for dinner. It was really nice to have pool towels available, so our own towels were only used for the beach.
Everything about the holiday booking and arrangements including car
hire was very easy and worked out as planned. We will certainly have a look at where to go next year (already thinking about it as the weather in the UK is cold, cloudy and windy - really miserable for mid August!)

We had a really great holiday and Villa Polymniaí is probably the best and our favourite villa from the many holidays in Greece that we have had. We loved the spaciousness of the upstairs sitting room, loved the balcony for breakfast and as a shaded area to sit in. Furnishing in the villa was all good, plus a bonus of a comfortable bed! The outside was spacious and the pool was great. Good view particularly of the stunning sunsets. Dan and Carmen were very helpful, friendly and unobtrusive.

Just back in Norway after two wonderful weeks at Idilli Villas in Lefkada.
I would just like to thank you for your good advice. Without you and your knowledge, I probably would never have chosen Agios Nikitas or the villa.
We simply loved the villa and everything about it. Excellent location, very high standard, beautiful surroundings etc.
What came as a real plus was the superb service "on site" - new linen twice a week, carrying out the litter and cleaning the house and the yard, etc. The two other Norwegian families were just as happy as us. : ) Once again, thank you.

Now that we have returned from Lefkada I thought I would give you a little feedback on what has been an excellent holiday for us at Villa Polymnia.
The Villa was excellent! The villa was beautifully peaceful and secluded and we spent a lot of time on site enjoying the tranquillity and the fantastic sunset views.
We also much enjoyed the local beaches where parking was generally fine even in the hectic first week of our stay. Locally we enjoyed Sappho's for fish and On the Rock for drinks.
We didn't find any very good tavernas in Lefkada town although we enjoyed breakfasts on the main square, drinks by the water and bought excellent fish, meat and bread in the specialist shops.
Many thanks once again for organising a great holiday which was much needed.

We had a great time. Polymnia was very comfortable and the couple looking after it were fantastic and really helpful. We really
appreciated the removal of bins regularly and the twice weekly change of bedding and towels
We really enjoyed Lefkada although it was very busy. Parking in Lefkas town in the evening was challenging and Nikitas was very crowded. Seaside restaurant in Geni is excellent and was apparently quoted in The Times as the best restaurant on Lefkada and we agree. Excellent host and perfect for a romantic evening or celebration.
