Villa Pyrelis is surrounded by nature enveloped by the barren hills of Paros and only 5 minutes walk from a secluded beach.
The villa comprises a main house and a guest house and can easily accommodate 11 guests.
The entrance to the property is at the rear and leads into an open plan living space. The decor is island style with white walls, blue-grey woodwork and a cement style floor which is functional and works well in this natural setting.
The living room features a comfortable seating area with a relaxed dining space featuring farmhouse style table and comfortable seating for 8 guests. Windows and a french door lead to a sea facing verandah shaded by a wooden pergola. The kitchen is well-equipped ‘for cooks’ featuring high quality ‘Smegg’ stainless steel appliances. A wonderful place to prepare all the delights for an Hellenic kitchen which can be easily served outside on the veranda overlooking the Aegean Sea.
The large master bedroom is accessed from the living room area and features king-size double bed, dressing room and an ensuite bathroom. The bathroom has been finished in tsimentagonia - a softly-sculpted cement style typical of the Cylcades, and blends well with the rest of the property. Antique paintings and ancient pots enhance the theme and french doors lead to the sea facing veranda and views over the island of Naxos.
Two further bedrooms can be accessed from either side of the central courtyard which is home to a tamarisk tree surrounded by capers. It is a real feature of the house and a wonderful place to spend time reading a book, playing backgammon, drinking ouzo before lunch or simply chatting with a friend. The first bedroom has a king-size bed and en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom is a colourful room with bunk beds and en-suite bathroom with shower. French doors give access to the rear of the property which is shaded by two large mulberry trees.
The guest house can be reached through little walk ways within the garden surrounded by aromatic Mediterranean plants. The guest house features a living room area, double bedroom, kitchenette, bathroom and a large veranda looking over the sea.
The property is very well equipped with air-conditioning in all bedrooms, WIFI, washing machine and dishwasher. There is a live-in housekeeper who prepares breakfast each morning and cleans daily.
The property is only a 5 min walk to a pebbly beach surrounded by pristine nature and with translucent waters. The sandy beach of Lolantonis is about a 5 min drive. Within a 10 min drive is Golden Beach with its world-renowned watersports facilities. Local tavernas and shops are a short drive away.
Villa Pyrelis would appeal very much to families wanting to holiday together with a fondness of cooking and a love of nature with stunning views over the sea. The property is perfectly placed to enjoy the full moon or the sunrise - which ever tempts you more!
