Summer Song consists of a large main house and beautiful guest house with an outstanding swimming pool and a floodlit tennis court - all recently renovated. The setting is within substantial private grounds within easy walking distance to the beach and to a jetty for the water taxi across to the island of Spetses. Situated directly opposite the Old Harbour of Spetses, the property has spectacular views across the bay.
Entering the hallway of the main house, to the right is a very large living room with plenty of comfortable sofas set around a beautiful fireplace, and with panoramic views across the bay to Spetses. Doors lead out to an expansive L-shaped marble pool terrace with dining areas. The marble used throughout the property is a sand-coloured matt stone which lends a golden light and natural warmth to the property. To the back of the living room is a dining area for 8 with a beautiful antique table. Through some double doors is the country-style main kitchen which is wonderfully equipped for cooks and with lovely views over the L-shaped marble terrace.
To the left of the main hallway, you enter a second hall. The double hallway has been so designed in order that the bedrooms always enjoy absolute quiet from the main living and swimming pool areas.
From the second hallway is a double bedroom with doors leading onto a terrace which overlooks the island of Spetses. There is also a twin bedroom with doors leading into the garden. These two bedrooms share a marble bathroom with shower.
Downstairs, there is a master bedroom suite with double bedroom and ensuite marble bathroom with shower. Doors lead from this bedroom onto the garden terrace. Along the corridor is a twin bedroom with ensuite marble bathroom with shower. On this level there is also a newly furnished bedroom with twin beds that can either be separated or made up as one king-size double. Next to this room is the bunk bed room which also has a comfortable sofa bed so suitable for up to three children. Both rooms have French windows leading to the garden. There is a separate marble bathroom with bath and shower, as well as a utility room.
At this level, there is an exit in order to reach the guest house (this can also be accessed via the steps from the pool terrace down to the garden). This is a wonderful villa in its own right and as comfortable and well-appointed as the main house with the addition of WIFI. Here, there is a very large living room with flat screen TV, dining table and kitchenette. This room is funky and modern in design with wonderful pieces of modern art on the walls. From the hallway, there is a marble bathroom with shower and one double bedroom.
Walking back up to the main house, the L-shaped marble terrace in actual fact boasts a completely separate swimming pool suite with WIFI access available: There is a separate pool kitchen which is as well-stocked and equipped as the main kitchen, a separate barbecue area, two separate marble bathrooms – one with WC and one with shower and changing area. There is a large outdoor dining area for up to 16 guests. There are plenty of areas set out with elegant coffee tables and chairs surrounded by the heady scent of huge tubs of gardenia. At the heart of all of this is the most stunning spa swimming pool with huge marble pillars that plunge into the water surrounded by many gorgeous recliners and lounge-chairs. To crown this most magnificent of properties is the luxury of having an astro-turf flood-lit private tennis court which is set within the grounds below the main house. Beyond the tennis court is a gate that leads directly out onto a laneway down to a lovely, quiet, sandy beach. The convenience of having a jetty below the property means that guests can easily be whisked to and fro to Spetses by the local taxi boat service.
This property is set within one of the most sought after locations within the Porto Heli area, and with access to both the restaurants and bars of Spetses 5 mins across the bay, as well as the nearby cosmopolitan town of Porto Heli makes this an ideal choice to please the different requirements of a large party. Porto Heli is also renowned for watersports so windsurfing, waterskiing, dinghy sailing, diving or snorkeling as well as motorboat hire can all be found locally. For guests who enjoy cultural activities, this is an ideal base for exploring the major archaeological sites of the Peloponnese and with the summer festival at the Ancient Amphitheatre of Epidavros world-class opera and theatre can be seen under the stars on most evenings of the summer.
The property includes an excellent daily housekeeper. She prepares breakfast each morning, and cleans and tidies. For an extra charge she can also prepare a main meal for lunch-time (or to be prepared in advance for the evening) and can do the shopping.
Summer Song is one of those rare properties that combines sumptuousness, taste and refinement whilst not losing its essential essence of being a superbly comfortable family home.

The villa was beautiful with a spectacular view of Spetses - I feel like the pictures on the website did not do the villa justice, so we were thrilled when we arrived!

All well, all settled in. Lovely house & having the boat will be both entertaining and useful.
Andreas, very charming, met us and gave me a tech tour of the lighting systems ..... Whatever happened to just ordinary dimmers & light switches..... Couple of other tech notes for you: there is good level wifi around the pool area now but no hard wire cable access except in the studio where the router is.
Takis, boatman, was very courteous. The boat itself takes 8 at a squeeze, so Hugo, our eldest, will have to run a taxi service when our guests arrive.....makes a change from me doing it. It is the biggest boat he has, but he offered to get a larger one shipped in from Athens if it turns out to be too small.... We are currently leaving it with him at night because (a) can't be bothered to worry about our anchoring skills overnight and (b) it is only 5 min by boat or car to pick it up plus (c) he will water, fuel and washdown in the morning prior to pick up.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Summer Song, and found the booking and liaison process very easy and smooth. All your staff have been very helpful and we would certainly recommend Pretty Greek Villas, and use them again ourselves.
Our villa, Summer Song, was perfect for our needs. The housekeeper, Dina, was very friendly and helpful and always a cheery presence. We also very much appreciated the use of the water cooler, and not having to carry endless bottles of water from the supermarket, as we did in last year's villa!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Summer Song, the villa was immaculate and set in the most beautiful locations.
Our housekeeper was extremely polite. It did take 3.5 hrs from airport to villa which was a little longer than expected but on arrival it was well worth the journey.

The first thing to say is that we had a quite fantastic holiday and thank you personally for helping it to be such a success. The advice and support of the whole team throughout the planning and execution of our holiday was exceptional and exemplary.
From the moment we first spoke with the team a year ago (!) to the support you were still giving us organising oxygen for baby Xander (which was incredibly helpful and, as it turned out, necessary)
The Villa is stunning and everything it promised to be. It was absolutely the right choice (Ben - thank you) and accommodated our peculiar needs perfectly. Given all the things that could have added stress to a holiday involving a large family with such disparate needs, it is amazing that nothing did. The opposite occurred and everything about the Villa helped deliver a terrific experience for all.
It was an excellent holiday. The Villa and the service was 10/10. Your team was exceptional. And we would actively choose to go with you again as soon as we can - whether Greece stays in or out of the Euro!
