Imagine being lulled to sleep by the sea just metres from your window!
Villa Thaleia, which takes its name from one of the sea nymphs, is in a perfect position just metres from the shoreline. A gate leads from the private garden directly onto a small and quiet beach.
The villa is on three levels. The main entrance is at the middle level and opens out onto a large open-plan space with well-equipped kitchen, dining area and comfortable living area. Large French windows lead to a very spacious, covered terrace with built-in seats, plenty of scatter cushions and outdoor dining area. From this terrace, there are steps leading down to a pretty garden with direct access to the beach.
On the upper level of the villa is the master bedroom with double bed, bathroom with shower and glorious views over the sea. Across the landing is a cosy study/library with sofa which could also be used as a single bedroom for a child who would like to be closer to the parents. Doors from this upper level lead to a lovely veranda which is a perfect place for an evening aperitif overlooking the sea, or for a spot of star-gazing as the moon rises over the bay.
The lowest level of the house is at garden level so it still feels very light, airy and cool. There are two bedrooms - one double bedroom and one twin bedroom as well as bathroom with shower.
The garden is a small but very private space surrounded by mature shrubs and flowering plants with table, chairs and large umbrella. Its a lovely place to relax with a book whilst listening to the waves on the sea-shore. A handsome gate leads directly out onto a small, quiet shingle beach with shallow shelf into the sea and absolutely pristine water.
The villa is in the area of Kounoupitsa and is within a few minutes walk of a small grocery shop as well as some excellent tavernas. Kaiki Beach which has a good beach bar, loungers and sun umbrellas as well as some water sports is about 7 minutes walk away. The town of Dapia is about 20 minutes walk but there is also an island bus that takes just a few minutes.
Villa Thaleia is perfect for guests wanting that rare find of a villa right on the waterfront, and to experience the simple pleasures of Greek island life.
This 3 bedroom villa is a rare find right on the waterfront with direct access to a small, quiet beach. Some excellent tavernas and a grocery shop are within a few mins' walk, and the main town of Dapia is about a 20 min walk.

Have a lovely day.
