Splendid Villa Theseus is located in a private and quiet area of Porto Heli surrounded by nature and with direct access to a beautiful serene beach, and with its own private dock.
The villa is very spacious and designed over two levels with 8 bedrooms, 7 bathrooms and 1 staff bathroom.
On the ground level, an entrance hall leads to the tower wing. There is a fabulous open plan space with comfortable living area and dining area with panoramic sea views. Large French windows open up to the spacious terraces, pool and gardens.
There is a fully equipped kitchen suitable for preparing meals on the scale that would be required by 16 guests. The kitchen opens up to a shady back terrace and garden – a quiet spot to enjoy the delicious scent of the aromatic gardens.
On this level there are two double/twin bedrooms each with their own bathrooms with shower. Both bedrooms open up to the front terrace.
Adjoining is the Master Bungalow with king-size bed and en-suite bathroom. Doors lead out onto the pool terrace and garden.
Next to the Master Bungalow is the Pool Bungalow which has a queen-size bed with en-suite bathroom and doors leading onto the pool terrace and garden.
On the lower level (same level as the garden), there are a further four bedrooms plus a kitchenette. There are two double/twin bedrooms each with en-suite bathroom and sea views, and two further double/twin bedrooms that open up to the garden terrace overlooking the sea with one bathroom between them, plus the Staff bathroom.
There are many different outside areas for guests to choose from the large front terrace overlooking the sea, the shaded terrace surrounded by the gardens, the fabulous swimming pool terrace with sun loungers and sun beds, and the spacious outdoor lounge areas and outdoor dining areas. The gardens are large and over various levels including a beautiful lower ground open terrace with lounge area overlooking the sea and the property’s vineyard.
A pathway from the property leads down to a beautiful, quiet beach with fine pebbles and sand, and crystal clear waters. A separate path leads to a small private dock where a boat can be moored. This picturesque cove is sheltered offering a serene shoreline perfect for adults and children to explore and play, and to make full use of the two canoes and stand up paddle boards and other waterpoorts equipment provided.
For yoga lovers, mats are provided and the large terraces facing the expanse of the sea and the serenity of the surroundings make it a perfect place to practise.
The villa has its own vineyard, olive grove, orchard, herb and flower gardens as well as a chicken coop located in a neighbouring private plot so that guests are not disturbed. Every morning the staff provide a basket of organic fresh eggs and fruits picked straight from the garden. The rest of the property has been left deliberately wild so that guests can enjoy the rugged beauty of the natural landscape. Four bicycles are provided (2 child bikes and 2 adult bikes) so that guests can really experience the beauty of the surroundings on the surrounding quiet private roads.
The services include an all-day professional butler and a professional chef, as well as daily housekeeping. Upon request there is an 8.5 meter speedboat suitable for 8 people for daily trips and watersports at an additional cost of Euro 2500/week or Euro 500/day. The boat requires a power boat licence, or a skipper can be provided at an extra cost.
The property is set in countryside a short drive from the fishing village of Kilada with its excellent fish tavernas, The exclusive Amanzoe Hotel is within easy reach. The marina town of Porto Heli with its array of shops, tavernas and bars is approx. 20 mins drive. Guests can also take a water taxi from Kosta Harbour near Porto Heli to explore the cosmopolitan island of Spetses with its excellent restaurants in the Old Harbour area. It’s also possible to have a day out on the picturesque island of Hydra via water taxi from Metochi.
