Set in the heart of the most idylic bay, surrounded by nature and only steps from a sandy beach with crystalline waters, Tranquillity offers luxurious accommodation for up to 16 guests.

There is plenty of parking for guests and the short walk through the lush gardens to the property brings a certain level of excitement the first time you visit this fabulous beach-side villa. Perfumes from the surrounding pines and wild herbs entice the senses and it is immediately apparent you are in a very special place.

Tranquillity consists of a main house and guest house. The first you arrive at is the guest house painted in a beautiful shade of olive that complements the vibrant colours of the garden. A wooden pergola runs the length of the building and although the guest house is set within the garden you can still take in the blue of the sea beyond whilst relaxing under the shade of the pergola.

Large modern flagging gives the floor of the property works perfectly with the polished cement walls and single pitch wooden roof. The guest house has two bedrooms - one double and one twin, a shared bathroom and little kitchenette - perfect for preparing breakfast or light snacks. The furnishings are simple, minimal and modern giving a peaceful effect to the interior of this charming little house. French doors lead from both bedrooms to the shaded terrace outside.

Back outside the short walk to the main house continues through beautiful landscaped gardens with large trees and a well kept lawn.

The main entrance to the main house is to the rear of the building. The property has been rendered in a truffle colour and stonework adds detail to the architecture of this luxurious home. There is a well appointed living room space with stone wall separating it from the kitchen and dining area. Archways lead from each area with French windows onto the pool terrace with views of the golden sands of the bay below. The furnishings of the living room area are luxurious and comfortable and the kitchen is fully fitted and up to date offering all modern conveniences for easy summer living.

There is a dining area outside which is situated under the terrace of the master bedroom offering a perfect place to sit and eat at any time of the day.

On the living room level is a large bedroom with double bed and separate single bed suitable for a child. There is plenty of storage and hanging space and an ensuite bathroom with high quality fittings.

Grey and white wooden painted stairs lead upstairs to a Neo-Classical style hallway. There is a master bedroom with comfortable bed and French windows leading to a large veranda with views over the bay. The twin bedroom has a small balcony and equally stunning views of the bay below. Both of these bedrooms share a large bathroom with bath, sink and WC.

Downstairs in the basement level, the cream walls with dove grey woodwork and modern artwork continue harmoniously and work well for the two bedrooms located here - a double room and a twin room. . Both of these bedrooms share a bathroom with high quality fittings and decor.

The property has central heating and a wonderful private heated swimming pool making it a perfect solution at all times of the year.

Outside the swimming pool area is embraced within the lush and colourful gardens. The surrounding surface is a beautiful combination of cement styled slabs and a marble finish to the edges of the horizon pool. The pool has been finished in a pebble effect which sparkles in the summer sun light. A pathway leads from the terrace to the beach with a collection of inflatable beach toys for guests to enjoy.

There are various beautiful areas for guests to chill and enjoy, including a hammock strung up between two palm trees and a massive mature bougainvillea cascading from the balcony of the master bedroom upstairs.

Tranquillity is located close to Kilada which is a charming little seaside village with a choice of excellent fish tavernas. The marina town of Porto Heli is about a 15 minute drive away where there is boat hire, some watersports, restaurants and shops as well as easy access to the chic and sophisticated island of Spetses (5 minutes by water taxi from nearby Kosta harbour). Ermioni is not far away (20 minutes drive) offering a wide range of tavernas to sample, and with direct access to the picturesque island of Hydra. The town of Nafplion with its Venetian styled square is also a short drive away.

Two or three families on holiday together with kids or teenagers would have a lot of fun at this villa. It would also appeal to yoga groups or similar looking for a peaceful paradise close to the seashore.
