Villa Ariodates has been extensively renovated in 2017 to provide a stunning waterfront villa on Sivota Bay, one of the most sought-after areas in the Ionian Islands.

The villa is on two levels with the main entrance being on the upper level. There is a large open plan room with separate living and dining areas, and a brand new open-island style kitchen. Large glass doors slide open to the spacious terraces revealing the panoramic views over the sea, across to Mainland Greece, the harbour entrance of Sivota and the islands of Meganissi, Atoko, Ithaka and Arkoudi. The upper level also has a spacious double/twin bedroom with its own en-suite bathroom and glass doors opening out onto the large main terrace with stunning sea views.

An internal staircase leads down to the ground floor level where there are 3 double/twin bedrooms each with their own en-suite bathrooms. From each room glass doors lead out onto a very large terrace with wonderful sea views. On this level there is also a utility room with washing machine and dryer.

The villa is climate-controlled throughout with a cooling system for summer months, and central heating with under-floor heating for winter months as well as a cosy new wood stove. There is Sat TV, DVD and unlimited WIFI.

The exterior part of the property has also been extensively remodelled and features two main outdoor areas. To one side of the villa is a large sunbathing area with private pool (45sqm) and plenty of sun loungers overlooking the sea. To the other side is a very large terrace shaded by a pergola with barbecue, outdoor dining and outdoor living areas. Stone steps lead down to the seashore where there is a private deck for swimming, fishing and sunbathing.

The nearby picturesque fishing village of Sivota with its pretty marina is a favourite stopping off point for yachts. Its harbour is lined with traditional houses, a few essential shops, some traditional tavernas and some good caf-bars. Car hire is recommended. Boat hire can be arranged.

Prices below based on 6 guests. For a 7th and 8th guest, please add Euro 150/week per guest. There are reduced rates also for smaller groups - please enquire.

Marino and Beate couldn't have been more helpful and efficient, and the locals were very welcoming. Sivota was a great place to eat with just the right kind of atmosphere.

Thank you very much for your recommendation on Villa Ariodates – it was absolutely superb and we had a phenomenal holiday!
We would like to go to Greece next year again and would probably like to try another island although I don’t think we could ever match the location or the villa we have just had. Please could you have a look at the villas you have and suggest some you think could potentially match it. The main requirements are that it is near the sea, swimming pool, quiet location.
