Stunning Villa Aurelia commands an impressive position above Kathisma Bay with panoramic sea views and spectacular sunsets. This is a very stylish contemporary property that has been designed to allow the natural flow of indoor/outdoor living so unique to Greek island summer life.

The property is on two levels. The ground floor has a spacious open plan living room with dining area and fully equipped kitchen. Impressive glass doors open out onto a large terrace with views right out over the iridescent blue of the Ionian Sea. On this level, there are two bedrooms both with sea views and with access to a covered terrace with their own sitting area. The first bedroom is with double bed, the second bedroom can either be twin beds or one king-sized bed. These bedrooms share a stylish bathroom with shower.

On the upper level is the master bedroom with double bedroom, spacious bathroom with bath-tub and shower and a private balcony with seating area with fabulous views over the sea.

The villa is very well equipped including LCD TV, Bose mini sound system, air-conditioning throughout and WIFI. Furnishings and decor are stylish, comfortable and modern with a relaxed summer feel.

The property has a very well-designed outdoor space. The infinity swimming pool (10m x 5m) is located in its own stylish terrace so although a beautiful space for all guests, it does make it an ideal solution for families with small children since this terrace is fully enclosed. The outside terrace also has gas barbecue, elegant outdoor dining and living areas and all overlooking the sea which feels so close you could almost touch the boats as they drift past.

The west coast of Lefkada has some of the most spectacular beaches in Greece with white sand and with a sea so turquoise it looks as if it has been bleached. Kathisma Beach is approx. 300m below the villa (2 mins by car) and is one of the most beautiful on the island. Guests staying at the villa can enjoy the privacy and tranquillity of the villa surroundings and yet have easy access to the facilities of the beach below where there are some beach bars/tavernas with sun loungers and umbrellas. The pretty fishing village of Aghios Nikitas which has a small array of tavernas, shops and cafes is about 3 minutes drive from the villa. The main town of the island, Lefkas Town, is just a 15 min drive away.

Villa Aurelia can be rented either by itself or in conjunction with neighbouring Villa Atalanta. Both villas have been designed so that each retains its own privacy and tranquillity. The villas are located on a private, un-paved road that is reasonably surfaced so jeep hire is not necessary, with no other houses within close proximity.

We had a fabulous holiday, the villa was perfect with amazing views. It had everything we needed with one exception, perhaps a mirror in the bedroom. Minas the Villa Manager was very attentive and sweet in a low key way, which we appreciated, and shared with us his local knowledge. We loved Lefkada and would definitely visit again.
