Villa Elisa is idyllically situated enfolded by the hills above Aghia Efimia and with a wonderful view right across the lush valley to the Bay of Sami below. The house is Neo-Classical in style with modern, artistic touches and with a fabulous swimming pool and beautiful outdoor dining area.

The property has been very well designed on three levels. The ground floor level has an open plan room with a comfortable living area, a dining area for 10 guests and a well-equipped kitchen. French windows lead to the outside dining area which is shaded by a vine-clad pergola. This level has the 1st master bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower and doors leading to the terrace. There are no steps on this level so it is suitable for the elderly or for wheelchair users.

Upstairs are four further bedrooms: A 2nd master bedroom with en-suite bathroom with bath and shower and doors leading to a small balcony; Two twin bedrooms and 1 double bedroom which share a bathroom with bath and shower. The double bedroom has doors to a terrace. All bedrooms have beautiful views.

The basement of the villa has a utility room, a living room/office that also has a double sofa bed and a WC – please note there are no windows on this level.

The property has air-conditioning throughout; SAT TV in the living room and all bedrooms; WIFI and home cinema.

Outside, one is struck by the beauty of both the swimming pool set in its pebble-paved terrace with panoramic views across the countryside to the sea below, and by the delightful vine-clad pergola which shades the outside dining area. There is also an excellent barbecue and plenty of comfortable chairs and sun-loungers. Above is an elevated garden level from which to enjoy the views. The property has a gated entrance with space for 2-3 cars and from the parking, a ramp leads up to the main entrance making it easier to transport suitcases and allowing access for wheelchair users.

The property is within walking distance to a quiet, authentic village with bakery, mini-market, cafes and a taverna. The villa sits in the hills above the larger fishing village of Agia Efimia which also has a marina for yachts. Along the quayside are various shops, cafes and tavernas. There are also boats for hire, a diving school and a small ferry that runs day trips across to the island of Ithaka. Famous Myrtos bay with its aquamarine water and long white beach is just 3kms away or a 10 min drive.

This is a lovely property from which to enjoy many aspects that Kefalonia has to offer – authentic villages, stunning beaches, mountain scenery and the tranquility of island life.
