The relaxed charm and beautiful design of Villa Hesperia are apparent from the moment you glimpse the property surrounded by a lush Grecian landscape. The villa has the perfect layout for two families with extensive grounds, an infinity pool and great entertainment facilities.
The villa itself has been very well designed over two levels. The central part of the property is the very large open plan living room, with dining area and very well equipped kitchen that opens out onto a huge terrace running the length of the property. Four bedrooms are located on this level - two master bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms located at the front of the property on either side of the open plan space. Behind these bedrooms are two further double/twin bedrooms each with ensuite bathroom and access to their own terraces. In front, the main terrace has an L-shaped outdoor sofa as well as coffee tables and chairs on both side of the terrace.
The 5th bedroom is located on the level below - and there are steps from the terrace down to this guest house level. There is a double/twin bedroom with ensuite bathroom and a beautiful verandah overlong the sea, garden and pine trees.
The swimming pool is located on the main terrace of the property and there is a fantastic outdoor dining area under the shade of a pergola making it a perfect place for entertaining. The property has incredible views over the sea and is surrounded by lush gardens. Hesperia was one of the nymphs of the mythical Gardens of Hesperides with the golden apples, and her name means 'sunset glow'.
The villa can seat up to 12 guests for dining, it has a very large fridge, separate freezer, very well equipped kitchen, Boss music system, internet, air-conditioning, ceiling fans, an excellent housekeeper and a private parking area.
The property is situated in the sought after North Eastern corner of Zakynthos, renowned for its outstanding natural beauty and close to the little port of Aghios Nikolaos from where the ferry goes to Kefalonia. Shops, tavernas, swimming coves are all to be found within a 10 minute drive, and there is a small local mini-market. Chemist, bakery and small local bars can be found in the old Venetian village in the hills above the house. Boats can be hired locally and the famous shipwreck beach and blue caves are close by. Water sports can be booked at nearby Alykes, and 30 minutes further away a large water park.

We had the most wonderful holiday in Villa Hesperia and have absolutely nothing to say but positive comments. The Villa is beautiful and in such a pretty, quiet location but with a short drive to the port and surrounding restaurants etc. It is beautifully furnished with everything we needed - and more.We loved how well stocked the kitchen was! One of us is a great cook so she was thrilled.
The housekeeping and pool staff were extremely friendly and did a perfect job looking after us. We left them a little something but please thank them.Eva came to visit us on day one and was very helpful with information about the villa and Island generally. She also booked us a boat trip to the shipwreck.
We will certainly come back to Zakynthos and I will tell my friends about PGV as your service from start to finish was fantastic.
