Located in the hills between Kardamyli and Stoupa, Villa Zeus commands a spectacular setting. The Messenian Gulf sparkles below like liquid sapphire and the contours of the mountainous coastline fade away into the distance of this incredible land, so steeped in history.
The property has four spacious, well deigned and comfortable bedrooms all with their own bathroom facilities. On the right of the house, whilst looking at the sea is the first, a self contained master suite containing its own living area with dining and kitchen facilities. There is also a charming outside dining space with sail tent shade strung between stone walls. A set of grey stairs joins the upper area living room with the bedroom area beneath. Large windows on both levels lets light flood in and the decor is simple and contemporary in styling.
On the far side of the property are the three remaining bedrooms each on a different level. On the upper level is a double bedroom with balcony. The middle level (living room level) has a double bedroom with access to a verandah. The lowest level has a twin bedroom. Each bedroom has its own bathroom facilities and all three bedrooms are similarly styled.
The central living room area is huge, with vaulted ceiling and divided into three functional spaces. The living area features beautiful, comfortable furniture with a stylish minimal design; there is a dining area for 10 and a fully fitted kitchen and island bar, perfect for whizzing up those culinary delights.
Large windows and glass doors open onto the terrace which runs the length of the property and offers several very comfortable places to sit and take in the view. Outside stone steps lead down to the pool level which can indeed be accessed independently by the master bedroom suite and features a large horizon pool and stunning view beyond.
It's a perfect property for groups of up to 8 guests, be it a family or party of friends who want to visit one of the most interesting areas of Greece which is relatively 'off the beaten track', stunningly beautiful and offering an array of excellent restaurants, gorgeous beaches, dramatic coastal and mountain scenery and steeped in the history of the Spartans!
