Villa Christina is a very stylish villa of the highest quality. It is just a few minutes walk from a lovely beach with a great beach bar and only 2 kms to the nearest town for an array of shops, restaurants and cafes. Surrounded by citrus groves, this peaceful location is close to many of the archaeological and historical sites of the Peloponnese and is considered one of the more 'authentic' areas of Greece to discover.
The house has been well-designed so that larger groups have plenty of space, and smaller parties such as a couple feel comfortable and not too overwhelmed. The property comprises a main house sleeping 8 and a separate guest house sleeping 4. The main house has very large open plan reception room with funky and comfortable furnishings. The living area has a generous L-shaped sofa with huge glass doors that slide back completely to allow the inside space to merge with the outdoor living space. To one end of this open plan room is the dining area featuring a large antique wooden table brilliantly twinned with ultra-modern Perspex chairs. The minimalist style kitchen, apart from looking ultra-cool, is very practical and very well-equipped. Throughout the property there are beautiful African teak floors.
From the living room, a hallway leads to a double/twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom with marble bath and shower.
Upstairs, there is a spacious hallway. To the left is a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with bath and shower. This peaceful room has a veranda overlooking a beautifully shaped olive tree. Across the hallway is a large master bedroom suite with a huge veranda overlooking the pool and garden with the sea to the right. It has a fabulous bathroom hewn out of 'carrara arabesquato' marble and features a very large shower. Next to this is a bedroom with two single beds and access to the same veranda.
Across from the main house is a separate guest house. From the hallway is a fully equipped kitchenette and a double/twin bedroom with doors leading to the patio, pool and garden. Next to this bedroom is a marble bathroom with bath and shower, and at the end of the hallway is another double bedroom.
The property is very well equipped with WIFI, 50" high definition TV, 3D DVD player, an excellent hi-fi system and central air-conditioning. Many villas boast 'state of the art' kitchens, but Christina really has been designed and equipped with chefs in mind!
For those who love entertaining, the outside area of the property is fabulous. The main focal point is the large swimming pool surrounded by Syrian stone and teak decking. Outside the main living room, there is an outdoor dining area overlooking the pool. To the other side of the pool is a huge covered pergola with very stylish living area featuring a contemporary L-shaped sofa, an excellent outdoor kitchen with barbecue, fridge, sink and outdoor fireplace for cooler evenings, a sound system with i-pod docking station and an external shower. There are plenty of sun loungers around the pool, and for kids a very large garden with lawns. All the planting in the property is of indigenous plants such as rosemary, lavender, sage, pomegranates, olive, lemon and mulberry trees.
A walk down a country road brings you to a long, pebbly beach with crystal clear water. Tucked away is another smaller beach with a beach-bar that has a great atmosphere and with loungers set out under the tamarisk trees. Just a few kilometres away is a traditional market town with supermarkets, bakeries, fishmongers, butchers and all the other usual shops. There are also many tavernas within easy driving distance including some excellent fish tavernas right on the sea. This is an area rich in culture and history - the archaeological sites of Delphi, Corinth, Mycenae and Epidavros can be visited as day trips and there are many surrounding towns and villages of interest to visit both in the mountains and next to the sea.
New for the 2023 season is a speedboat with skipper that guests can hire for fishing trips, snorkelling, and exploring both the local bays as well as the beautiful island of Trizonia opposite and the Neo-Classical town of Galaxidi with Ancient Delphi above. Villa Christina is an ideal choice for families, friends and couples alike who love entertaining and who want to find a fabulous contemporary villa in a more authentic area of Greece with plenty to see and do within easy distance.
Prices below are based on 7 - 10 guests. For up to 6 guests, lower rates apply except for 20th July - 31st August. Please note that although this villa has 6 bedrooms, the villa owner strictly limits occupancy to 10 guests.

The villa suited our family group so well. Thank you for suggesting this property to us as we really enjoyed every aspect and amenity that This type of villa afforded us.
The contact we had with owner, Dimitris, was also wonderful and he was very responsive and helpful at all times.
The villa and adjacent guest house were very comfortable. The main kitchen especially, was very well equipped with high quality appliances and equipment which made a big difference
to us as we enjoy cooking especially for a ‘dirty dozen’!
The outdoor layout between the main house, pool and covered pergola worked brilliantly as it meant that everyone could interact without being cut-off from one another.
The surrounding garden was also very well tended and the hedging/fencing well done to afford us privacy.
Paris welcomed us very warmly on arrival. We managed to overcome the language hurdle and familiarised ourselves with all aspects of the villa. Paris also kept the whole outdoor area and pool very clean whenever he was in – a charming man.
Likewise, Yianna was pleasant enough and didn’t have that much to do whilst we were there – (minimal cleaning, tidying and change of linen). The pool was lovely. Safety was evident by the stone surround which was non slippery.
Likewise, the textured tiles on the steps of the pool and the regular pool tiles were also of good quality and it was good to see that attention to detail such as this was taken.
We have experienced many pools where this is not the case and are just accidents waiting to happen. The outdoor shower area here was simply brilliant and a great feature.
The hot water seemed to work well for the most part too aside from only one occasion when some
had cold showers. Most of the bathrooms had excellent water pressure.
The provision of the non-slip shower mats and the extension leads were very much appreciated indeed.
Thank you for seeing to this. Once again our sincere thanks and I will definitely be in touch again…hopefully we will visit Greece again very soon.

We wanted to let you know that we had the most fabulous holiday at Villa Christina. The villa was beautifully furnished of a very high quality and we enjoyed having such a large pool and the garden was great for the kids. It was really nice to meet you too and thanks very much for organising the tennis games at the local club, the birthday cake, the ladies who came to cook and all the other things that you did to make this a really special family holiday. Just out of interest, is the villa available for the last week of August/first week of September next year? If so, we may be interested in booking again.
